The bail status is not in stone yet. Chris was just arrested on a Sunday night. We wont know the bail until tomorrow sometime maybe.

We don’t actually know if bail was denied. It just hasn’t been set yet because he hasn’t had an arraignment hearing. He should have arraignment tomorrow and we’ll know about the bail thing then.

If they determined Barbara is of sound mind then yes, Barbara could have said that it was consensual in order to save her son from a worse charge. She would be taking part of the fall too but at her age they would not arrest her and just put her under house arrest.

The more likely issue is they are still trying to gather enough proof that it was rape and at the very least are justifying his arrest with something they can prove 100% happened.
