Not a forensic scientist but I'm pretty sure there are ways of discerning rape from consensual sex, regardless of what the victim claims.

This will get minimal, if any, news coverage. There’s tons of degeneracy that takes place on a daily basis that isn’t covered because it’s sadly too common. What Chris did was fucked up, but that doesn’t make it a news story.
