I reckon he'dve been more concerned by the Sailor Moon dolls and the hyper-girly
shoujo manga on that shelf: Absolute Boyfriend, Fushigi Yugi, Tokyo Mew Mew - manga that are about as feminine as the genre gets imho. Even girls in that target demographic found most of that shoujo shit to be "too much" (self included). And Chris was a "grown man" when he was consooming this saccharine drivel.
