Is chopping wood good exercise?

I have a Fiskars X25 axe for my woodcutting needs and it does it's job well. Just remember to let the wood dry up a little bit before starting your chopping.

Used an axe all my life. Tried a maul a few times, but it felt like using a sledgehammer to split wood - big bonk but no crack.

Generally an Axe, but now that I'm doing more than 1 cord personally, and I fucked my shoulder skiing, I'm investing in a proper upright log splitter.

Hauling and stacking and cutting is fine exercise tho.
