She (when she was John) did grow up in a Christian home, he seemed to grow against it for possibly being upset with his birth parents.

John felt like he was abandoned. Part of what is talked about in this thread he struggled with basic things like hygiene, cleanliness. And he always hung out with the wrong crowd. Even though he may had good friends, there were some that were questionable. John fell off the deep end when he stayed with his dad and stepmom. Before that his mom said he let one of his friends stay at his place (living with his mom's apartment) with no stable job. One day his friend was sick or something and the fire alarm was going off so his friend destroyed the alarm having John and his mom evicted. I believe he was homeless for awhile before his dad took him in. He later tried to join the Marines. It's hard to say what really set off his anger and mental problems but it took on after he and his gf got an apartment in Wisconsin.

Didn't know that he was institutionalized. I knew he was arrested before and sounds like he was hospitalized due to his suicide attempts and psychotic breaks. I pretty much gathered that John is lazy and expects others to care for him. He thought by becoming a transwoman that he would get more respect and sympathy, when that doesn't happen he retaliates in anger, threats of violence or harm to himself, which is sad because i knew him to be such a nice kid like his brothers. I never knew he would turn out like this. But when he cut off ties with his dad, changes gender, expect his mother and siblings to accept him as a she that won't go well, especially when he was on facebook arguing with people. I wished i had screenshots of him going crazy over stupid nonsense, mostly ranting and raving about the political system. He'd argue with people he didn't' even know. It sounds like he started a trend of blowing up at people for not agreeing with him to blaming others for his own mistakes. John/Chloe needs to be permanently placed in a mental institution. It's only a matter of time before another psycho episode happens and it will.

Edit: I'm not sure that other transgenders are really helping Chloe any. It's like asking other mentally ill people how to become sane again. With the rise of transgender acceptance even some professionals see this as normal transgender behavior. Chloe needs a role model that isn't insane.

From what we've been able to piece together, nothing really set it off. It seems more likely that he was born with a major mental health disorder and it was only a matter of time before he had his first psychotic episode. Obviously, his mental health hasn't been managed well since that time.

He actually does have some talent and might actually find some fulfilment in that if he was in a cocooned environment where he didn't have to deal with life's basics. He's not going to find that environment in the community, though, because the level of care he needs far exceeds what family and friends could ever provide.
 
He's done some reprehensible shit, but I have a tiny measure of sympathy for someone whose brain has betrayed them.

Yeah, I'm gonna be the dick who says it:
She's not going to find that environment, period. Even if she did, she'd never live in it.
Chloe is:
-Psychotic
-A pathological liar
-Aggressive/Violent
-Prone to addictive behavior
-Allergic to work or effort of any kind
-Acts purely on impulse and makes decisions based on emotional states
-Poor as shit
-Not talented enough for the above to be worth working around

Chloe doesn't have access to the kind of care she needs, wouldn't accept it if she did, has burned all the bridges that could potentially be a source of help, and wouldn't rebuild those bridges given the chance.
This has one of two endings:
-She dies. Drugs, attacks a cop, hangs herself, starts believing she can fly, who knows, but she's gonna die if she keeps this up.
-She is incarcerated or forced into some kind of permanent involuntary psych care. Given that she lives in America, prison is the far more likely of the two. Statistics illustrate that a majority of the incarcerated population has some form of untreated mental illness.

This shit is gonna get dark, fam. Like, "Requiem for a Dream" dark. She has pretty much everything wrong with her that is humanly possible to fuck up, and she's absolutely adamant that she won't seek help. That only leaves some pretty bleak ways this is gonna go down, and at the rate she's going, it's going down fast.

You're probably right. The first signs is when he didn't want to do any housework in his mother's apartment during the teen years. It was mostly his mom and his older brothers helping out from time to time. I only been around him during get togethers and only heard stories from his parents, brothers and a couple of his friends. He needs to figure out how to deal with life's basics because it's part of survival. He is too lazy to really get off his ass to do some actual work and needs to let the petty stuff go. But considering his mental disorder, he is incapable of doing either. It doesn't matter what anyone suggests. He fits the transgender persona to a T though. I've seen people argue over transgenderism and most of the time it's mostly the transgenders that are trying to justify who they are.

I'm going off topic here but from what i've seen in this thread. Chloe is a lost cause. Her dad wants to get into contact with her. I don't think she's in the right state of mind for that considering she probably still has anger towards him. Reading these posts, i don't even want to be in contact with her. She is basically the mental illness.

The game development style I use is faux retro, I'm mostly inspired by the games I played growing up, but I still keep up with modern design concepts (despite absolutely despising a lot of them).

Funny how, using a few thousand times the power and memory to do what they did 30 years ago is a deliberate stylistic choice all the trannyindiegamedevs just so happen to mysteriously use. They could just as easily make a 3d VR thing, but aesthetics...riiiight
I'd respect em a lot more if they'd just admit it "eh, I'm not very experience and don't know that much about programming so it's all I can do right now"

But I gotta give it to him when you have 5-8 of the world's rarest, unconfirmable syndromes that only cash will treat, just mustering the energy to get up and make death threats to other, more successful trannies is a chore.

Honestly, while I'm normally of the sort to grind the games of Troon developers under my boot until they cry, Chloe actually has talent. She coded the engine of Homesick pretty much from scratch and she periodically shows that if she were less of an out and out psychopath, she'd have a fucking great career as a retro game maker.

She comes so, so close to competence. It's solely her own psychosis that keeps her from getting over the bar.

People underestimate what "from scratch" really is.


As for her stuff..I don't buy it. I remember her "invention" blog where she tried to tout herself as a chemist and her charging system that was supposed to be revolutionary until someone brought up you could just add another charge port and hotswap and she freaked the fuck out and I think even deleted the whole thing

I think that IS part of her psychopathy : That whole self-mystique that she's the silicon whisperer. It's just another way of avoiding. Look at that line about how she can't use English --it's bullshit.

c'mon, if he had to get a job writing drivers with his machine-code brain his pseudomyalgia would immediately flare up and he'd have to go home a patreon for pot and pizza and get in a few hours of self-care death threats.

He's just kind of an insult to actual on-the-job working programmers and real biochemists
 
The archive.is site doesn't seem to archive it properly now, but the Patreon blurb was updated and rewritten. Chloe was producing content on it but it appears the last one was in early July so a crash into slumber may have occurred.
Hey everyone! I'm Chloe, I make video games, and art. Occasionally I branch out into other things, I love to self study, and learn by doing at my own pace.

My various disabilities have made formal education extremely difficult, and lack of access to proper medical care has left me with an extremely unstable medical history where I am constantly having to change doctors from medical coverage being lost and homelessness. Because of this, it's extremely difficult to get any access to services I need to actually be able to participate, so when I went to school, I would either not be able to keep up, or be in too much pain to even make it to class. Online classes weren't any easier, without having a physical person there to teach me, it was even more difficult to grasp the material quickly enough to keep up in class. I'm in so much debt I'm no longer able to get any sort of financial aid, among other issues.

I am not very good with English. On top of having a very poor formal education, English is an outdated language that's incompatible with my internal machine language. That's me bragging.
