So I have this one album that I copied from someone and stays in my playlists for, like, half my life and the entire time I thought it's from Era, and today I realized, it's mostly from different artists and someone had put together and released a fake Era album "Infinity", because it was very popular in the 90's? And I find it better than the real Era, which I do not listen to at all? Until now, I did not know what a bootleg is, but apparently it was a thing in 90's. I just thought they experimented with various styles.

Hi kiwibros. I made a smooth jazz chart for /mu/ earlier this year, 100 albums of relaxation. Not sure where else to put it. Enjoy.

Also, my favorite album from this was Doug Markley's Philly Filet, a fusion band from Philadelphia that moved into a more broad, mainstream sound. There is a lot of crossover between smooth jazz and fusion, R&B, and sometimes hip hop. I hate rap and all that but some of those old beats, New Jack Swing, sound pretty cool.
 
Devin Townsend- Hyperdrive. A song that is simultaneously soothing and epic. It is like riding the crest of a wave.

 
I used to annoy my local cafes to play my instrumental playlist, though nobody has saved it so far. I put it in the dining area of the place where I work on lazy days and watch old grandpas nod their heads to it.
