I've been getting into Turkish psychedelic recently. Was a bourgeoning genre during the 60's-70's but it fell off as political changes swept the country. Now there's a bit of a revival occuring with artists like Baba Zula and Altin Gun.

I think it's wonderful. A lot of it is rather dreamy with a very heavy Arab influence but even the more poppy songs are very fun. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a change of pace. Two months of delving into the genre has completely deprogrammed the /pol/tard roach posting out of me lol.

Two tracks from Altin Gun, one downtempo and the other an example of the more upbeat. Both have a melancholic undertone
