Author Anthony Horowitz says he was "warned off" including a black character in his new book because it was "inappropriate" for a white writer.

The creator of the Alex Rider teenage spy novels says an editor told him it could be considered "patronising".

Horowitz wanted a white and black protagonist in his new children's books but says he is now reconsidering.

"I will have to think about whether this character can be black or white," he told the Mail on Sunday.

Well remember that this isn't the first time young people have tried to insert their feelings on the world and expect the world to change over night to suit them.

Remember the hippie movement in the 60s? How many of those people stayed in that mind set and movement after they "grew up". How many of those dirty hippies at wood stock are lawyers,doctors, politicians now.

Well, he's not necessarily exempt. Despite all their bitching about literal Nazis, opinions on Jewish people in SJW circles tends towards the negative. Jewish people are too "white" for their tastes, and the only times you'll see the left standing up for Jews is if doing so can make themselves look better. They use the Holocaust as a point against Nazis, but from everything I've seen in online circles, it's only that; not something to actually be disgusted with, just another way that they can show how good they are for caring. I've heard the whole concept jokingly called "Schrödinger's Jew"; whether or not Jewish people are privileged whites or oppressed POC depends on whether or not the SJW's can use the issues faced by Jewish people to their own ends at that particular moment.
But hell, that's all just what I've seen in general online. How it differs country to country or between specific communities, I wouldn't know.
