Childhood TV Shows That You Barely Remember

She turned out to be a major cunt in the late 2000s when people asked her about the show.
 
There was this claymation show with a green monster guy with eyes on stalks and crooked teeth, another monster that was blue and a ragdoll

All I remember is this insane episode where the green guy ate a bunch of gum and imploded on itself or something bringing the blue guy along for the ride inside his own body

The show was mental, cant recall the name

Bump in the Night

 
That Bump in the Night theme song somehow feels longer than the "TV size" versions of most anime openings even thought it's half-a-minute shorter than the standard 1:30 anime opening. It's probably because they managed to cram in three verses with choruses into just a minute.
 
Sitting ducks, the show about a duck and his alligator best friend who tries not to eat him. I remember vaguely an episode where they gave him "duck patches"
And also pretty much the entire line-up of nbc's qubo block is full of forgotten crap.

I forget what station it was, ABC perhaps, that would bracket its morning cartoon commercial breaks with animated or claymation characters singing "After these messages, we'll be right back," and "And now, back to the show." Some of those bumpers featured the Bump in the Night characters. I want to say the girl with the mismatched socks was named Molly, but I'm not sure because the show itself looked too weird to be interesting to my young self.

I also seem to recall when the TV station in question had a five-minute break between the end of morning cartoons and whatever aired at 12 Noon. For one of these slots, it featured at least one of the Bump in the Night characters singing some sort of goofy song about itself and its cast members that truly was nothing but filler for the extended break. I preferred the five minute segments of Schoolhouse Rock or the kid-friendly trivia/news they'd often throw into this slot.

As I wrote this, I also recalled the show Animals Animals Animals that was rare for a kid-focused show in that it aired at 11:30 on Sunday mornings instead of Saturdays. Hal Linden would talk about a different animal on each half-hour show.
 
Yeah, Bump in the Night was on ABC in the United States and was a spin-off from the ABC Saturday morning bumpers from a couple of years earlier. It was also on YTV in Canada.

I remember that one from around 1980, when I was 5 years old, which was well over a decade before Bump in the Night was made. Did they re-run it in the 1990s?

TBH, I'm not sure if it ever appeared in reruns. I haven't been able to find anything stating one way or another. The show just happened to come back to mind when I was composing my previous reply because I originally thought it aired Saturday afternoons before I found out it instead aired on Sundays.
 
The Dumb Bunnies, a cartoon based off a series of books by Dav Pilkey, author of Captain Underpants. I remember the books made me laugh a lot, but I hated the cartoon.

There were a few shows that aired on Fox Kids/Fox Family that I only vaguely remember.
The Three Friends and Jerry -It was about some dumb kids with coneheads that were assholes to a new kid who wanted to hang out with them. I just remember it looking awful.

The Kids from Room 402 - Just seemed like a standard show about kids in a school, like Recess. The only thing I remember is an episode about two boys that started swearing, with a bike horn censoring the swears.

I think WVNY-22, the ABC affiliate in Burlington VT (which we could pick-up in Montreal), might have aired, circa 1980, Animals, Animals, Animals on Sunday mornings paired with reruns of Hanna-Barbera's Devlin (the Evel Knievel-inspired motorcycle stunt show cartoon) for some reason.
 
Anyone remember The Little Prince (2015)? Its was this 3d cartoon that plotwise had nothing to do with the book but was basically the little prince and the fox going to different planets and solving some problem caused by the snake. I remember feeling nostalgic for it once and trying to pirate some episodes but finding fuck all ((:_( which i dunno if i wasnt looking hard enough but it was kinda weird

Apparently Douglas Adams wrote for this show, which might be why it seems so much like a crazy fever dream. When they eventually brought it to VHS in America, they swapped out all of the Britishy sounding music and replaced it with generic synth music. That pissed me off because I remember the original music from the time it was broadcast on PBS years before, and I remember it having a distinctive British/Australian flavor. I guess the localizers thought the original had sounded old-fashioned.

I remember watching this too as a kid, albeit from a weak Canadian signal.

Not knowing Adams helped write for the show, I always thought its trippy vibe was the result of being written in the psychedelic 1970s because some scenes and characters looked like something one would see after imbibing illicit substances and not the things one might expect to see in a kids cartoon. That said, i enjoyed Peter Ustinov as the narrator and titular character... and the latter's talking duck-head pogo stick.

The US version seemed more appropriate for the show and its characters/themes.

When I discovered episodes online some years back, I also saw that Jeffrey O'Kelly's son had created a concept trailer for a potential reboot. However, it looked as if he couldn't decide whether he wanted to be faithful to the original or ignore it and take the reboot in a darker, scarier direction. As far as I know, the reboot never materialized beyond the trailer.

I saw the trailers but never got around to watching it.

This is The Little Prince I remember from my childhood, another animated production using the characters from the book but not directly based upon it.

 
Butt Ugly Martians- A CGI show about three aliens doing stupid things. People like to say the CGI in Jimmy Neutron has aged badly. Well, this is even worse. But while Jimmy Neutron is still entertaining this show was so boring. Even as an annoying kid I thought it was dull.

The Buzz on Maggie- A show about a teenage fly. Never really watched it. I was more into Jake Long and Emperors New School.

Cat Scratch - I kind of remember it being like a cat version of Ed, Edd, n Eddy. I actually enjoyed it and thought it was underrated. Sadly, it only lasted one season.

Whatever Happened to Robot Jones- I first saw this on a day when I was home sick from school on What A Cartoon. It was about this robot kid going to school in a futuristic 80s. They originally used Microsoft Sam for his voice but later switched to a humans.

Mina and the Count- Not a real show but it did have several shorts on What A Cartoon and Oh Yeah Cartoons. It was kinda cute and had a fanbase but never got picked up.

Salute Your Shorts- About these kids going to a camp and causing trouble. I saw some episodes on Youtube a few years back. Before that I barely remembered it. For some reason the thing I remembered the most was the fat kid.

The Secret World of Alex Mack - A show about a girl who has powers such as turning into Capri Sun and trying to hide it from the government.

Omg I fucking LOVED this show as a kid lmao idk why but for some reason I really did.

I remember loving this show when it was on, but was so annoyed when they changed his voice to some kid sounding as monotone as possible.

I tried watching it again a few years ago, and it didn't hold up. It just wasn't that funny.
