My childhood was quiet, it was calm and it was peaceful. Spent largely outside building huts and playing cop & criminal or cowboy and indjun with the neigborhood kids, playing sports (that I sucked at so usually gave up on quickly), climbing trees and stuff. Also had the habit of going into areas I was not supposed to go with friends, such as schools and the like, after closing time. All-in-all pretty innocent. I remember being six or seven and on a holiday, walking down the beach with my father. Normally people would pick shells and colourful little stones, I'd pick the largest I could find to be rebellious. Silly stuff. Oh and when I was four I remember being taken to this huge replica of a 17th century ship, and being in awe by it. Wanted to be a pirate for quite a while, from the age of 4 to 7 I believe. Crazy fun times. Then, I became a big bro at six and it pretty much went downhill from there. Siblings, lol.

When I was four or so, I remember being at my grandparents house. They had this shag carpet in the ugliest shade of green at the time. Well, I walk into the living room and right in the middle of this hideous green shag carpet was a fucking cat turd, which for some reason was fucking terrifying. Seriously, I walked in, saw that, and ran right the fuck out. It's not like I was afraid of poop or anything, I guess it was just the combination of turd + shag carpet that did it.

Also, when I was nine or ten and concrete around the sewer caps (the ones in the middle of the road) in my neighborhood were being repaved I took a stick and wrote "Pokemon" on the one in front of my house. It's still there to this day *yawn*

Although I can't remember much of my childhood I do remember seeing my sister playing on a SNES we use to own when I was probably two or three years old. She was playing the Power Rangers game and I remember it took her a few tries to beat the final boss. I also remember another memory I had when I went to Ohio as a very young child. Despite being a scratchy memory, I can remember when I actually roasted a marshmallow on a fire. I do remember seeing it burn though. I wish I could remember the old memories.
