I miss the McDonald's Southern Style Chicken Sandwich

For me, it's the McChicken. The best fast food sandwich. I even ask for extra McChicken sauce packets and the staff is so friendly and more than willing to oblige.

One time I asked for McChicken sauce packets and they gave me three. I said, "Wow, three for free!" and the nice friendly McDonald's worker laughed and said, "I'm going to call you 3-for-free!".

Now the staff greets me with "hey it's 3-for-free!" and ALWAYS give me three packets. It's such a fun and cool atmosphere at my local McDonald's restaurant, I go there at least 3 times a week for lunch and a large iced coffee with milk instead of cream, 1-2 times for breakfast on the weekend, and maybe once for dinner when I'm in a rush but want a great meal that is affordable, fast, and can match my daily nutritional needs.

I even dip my fries in McChicken sauce, it's delicious! What a great restaurant

Popeyes makes a mean chicken sandwich. Crunchy chicken cutlet followed by the crispy, buttery bread makes for a filling sandwich.

Popeyes chicken sandwich feels like a lottery, sometimes it one of the best fast food sandwiches you can get others it's a disgusting greasy patty that's more fry than chicken smothered in wet mayo.

My go to easy meal is a simple pan cooked chicken sandwich seasoned with salt pepper garlic and lemon pepper. Melt on a delicious overly processed slice of null's favorite cheese and you got a great meal I could eat any day and can make while barely conscious

There was a CFA at my college. I would go there regularly to use my food stipend to get a chicken sandwich meal. You would HAVE to get a milkshake to dip the fries in.

Dairy Queen used to have a delicious chicken tender sandwich before the pandemic. I bought one just recently and shrinkflation unfortunately made its way to the tenders . I found this recipe (haven’t made it yet, though want to) that looks like a pretty delicious substitute.

Wendy's used to have this excellent spicy honey chicken sandwich, that had dill pickle flavored potato chips on it. Otherwise the Honey Pimento sandwich from Chic-Fil-A is still very good and just recently returned. Really, any chicken strips with some buns and a homemade honey sauce is an excellent dinner. Add some dill pickle potato chips of your own and you're set.

When I was living in Hawaii around 2012, I enjoyed Wendy’s Asiago Chicken Club Sandwich.

There is no comparison to the fast food perfection that is the McChicken. They used to give these things out for a dollar and even in our shitty current year they are cheaper then a candy bar. Get yourself a packet of free BBQ sauce to put on it.

The only fast food chicken sandwich I've ever really liked was the Popeyes chicken po'boy, and that was only when I was working there in high school and making it for myself. Making it for myself was the only way I could guarantee fresh, fully cooked chicken.
