I love Chess, but finding anyone IRL to play with is just as hard as finding anyone IRL to play Monopoly. In 7th grade middle school I joined a Chess club because 1. It was the only thing available that looked interesting, and 2. The volleyball team subtly told me to fuck off.

Thats what sucks about trying to build a good defense, you don't exactly have many options for an offense
