I'm about to try some mango habanero gouda, double cream Dutch cheese, and 2 sisters Dutch cheese with salami and crackers. I've never tried cheese like these before.

Someone earlier in the thread mentioned liking Tillamook cheese. I went on a trip to their factory in Tillamook, Oregon years ago and I highly recommend it.

The best cheese I ever had was homemade garlic-flavored goat cheese. It was simply amazing.

I wish goat cheese was more popular. It definitely deserves more love.
 
Q for European cheesebros. Do you eat the mouldy rind or do you peel your cheeses like we do?
Depends on the cheese.

bloomy rind like camembert yes, but harder aged cheeses like parmigiano reggiano tend to be less appetizing due to the texture and bitterness. The rind can be used for sauces or in cooking though if you do not want to waste it.
 
Parmesan rind is pure crystallized MSG. Melt that shit into a tomato sauce for your pasta and you will never taste tomato sauce the same way again.
That's what my dad does with tomato juice spaghetti sauce, as much as I prefer actual sauce, it's still really good.

I really like pimento cheese spread with crackers.

Also my favorite cheeses I’ve found are all cheddar of the Anglo variety. Costco sells a British coastal cheddar

However the best is croc brand australian cheddar which I buy from a massive international store called jungle Jim’s, which is famous in my area

I really gotta start eating good cheese again. I went on a fucking JOURNEY to find cheese a while back and I've been thinking of that cheese since. Hoping places closer to me got it or something similar to what I took pics of cheese wise on my cheese quest. You guys got like any specific types that might be cool to try or am I just gonna have to wing it whenever I get cheese access?
