Saw someone in the comments say that Core-Lokt was the default choice for period of time the rifle was probably purchased. It might literally have been the box(es) of ammo that grandpaw loaded up once a year for durr season, and was still with the rifle when he filched it.

I had the same exact thought. Core-Lokt was fucking everywhere and was the de facto choice for hunters for years. You didn't entertain any other ammo because you knew how core-lokt shot and that's what everybody else used. It's bottom of the barrel cheap not because it's bad, it's because it's old tech, the load's been around since 1939.

It was at one point. There weren't many options. Hollow points sucked for a long time. So companies like Remington invested in the soft tip. It expanded well. It left some lead, but lead was in the paint of your house as well. It's mostly plinking ammo today. Still used for hunting, but it's been surpassed by modern rounds. He probably saw it at Walmart, looked at the price, and chose it based on that. Or it could have been gramps.

I mean I guess that's what the trial is for but its not like his defense lawyers are doing media interviews promising to expose ZOG's secret plot to kill Charlie. I guess the defense lawyers are part of the conspiracy too? I assume even if Robinson was groomed by someone to kill Charlie he was most certainly the one pulling the trigger that day.

First of all, there is a court order for all witnesses and lawyers to not make public statements. So they're not legally allowed to do so. Prosecution has been reprimanded for this on monday, for their statements in media.

Second of all, he likely was involved in some plot. Because how did his grandfathers gun became involved otherwise. That means that even if he did yell it from the rooftop, he would incriminate himself over the part he actually is guilty for.

Finally, the evidence putting him on the rooftop is flimsy and strange. Who were the other three men in the car? Who was the bald man driving? Why doesn't his length seem to match the video?

The strongest evidence putting him on the rooftop is the screwdriver found there with his DNA on it. The bodycam of the cop who found it there stopped working because the battery was dead right before he found it, only 27 minutes into his shift.
