There's still a lot missing from the story namely being:
-How did Tyler get to the point where he believed killing another person over politics was justified?
-Did he genuinely take Lance's schizobabble seriously?
-Why did so many other troons in proximity of Tyler and Lance seem to know the assassination was happening ahead of time?
-Given others seemed to know ahead of time, was Tyler working alone?
These are questions the latest Turkey Tom video doesn't answer.

I mean this isn't information the leaker would know.

The leaker was basically just a roommate of Tyler & Lance's who left the house what appears to be weeks to months before the shooting. Unfortunately, they don't have that information. The best we get is the mentioned slide from "apolitical" to "leaning more left [after the election]" for political motive.

Good example. Adding to it, AR-15s are less accurate than a dialed 30-06 hunting rifle as well. Tyler is also an experienced hunter.

2. 250 yards is a difficult shot with Iron sights, but peanuts with an optic. This is multipled if you have a really nice optic with good magnification (like the one used, which was around $1500)
3. .30-06 is still virtually point blank at 250 yards, which is right around where it begins to drop.

Its not a hard shot, and in fact a very easy shot given the equipment.

All of this paired with the fact that he likely didn’t even hit what he wanted, makes it even more likely that he indeed was the shooter. Highly doubt he meant to hit Kirk in the neck.
