This actually explains everything wrong with middleclass and higher newgens, and I’m pretty sure anyone who grew up that environment will agree. Boomer/Gen X parents genuinely don’t give a fuck if their son is a socially stunted, permanently awkward retard as long as they maintain a B-average and have enough extracurriculars to make it into a nice state school because they have no idea what the cultural climate is like.
