But yes people should be ready and willing to counter this horseshit because the fact of it is, if they can get away with twisting the narrative on this, that effectively means they can shoot any rightwinger and blame it on the right. That cannot be allowed to happen.

There is no evidence that “Hey fascist, catch” is a Helldivers II reference. Going through wikiquotes, the only time fascist is mentioned is talking about bugs.

"Hey fascist" isn't but ↑→↓↓↓ definitely is. In Helldivers 2 the player can call in "stratagems" which are basically variations of air-support or orbital strikes to aid them. In order to use them the player has to enter in a series of keystrokes, in this case those arrows on the keyboard. The arrows match the strategem code for a 500kg bomb, and the player has to physically throw the marker for the strategem onto the ground/on a bug for it to be called in, hence the "catch".
