The Carolina Panthers have fired their communications coordinator following his comments on social media about the assassination of Charlie Kirk Link Archive.is

The Carolina Panthers have fired an employee in the team’s communications department due to an insensitive social media post about the fatal shooting of conservative activist Charlie Kirk in Utah, a source familiar with the team’s decision said Thursday.

Charlie Rock, a football communications coordinator for the Panthers, posted about Kirk’s death on his personal Instagram account Wednesday. A few hours after the 31-year-old Kirk was shot and killed Wednesday while speaking to a crowd at Utah Valley University, Rock posted: “Why are yall sad? Your man said it was worth it ...” and included a photo of Kirk. Rock also included a reference to the Wu-Tang Clan song “Protect Ya Neck” in the post.

The Panthers posted at 10:01 a.m. Thursday on X: “The views expressed by our employees are their own and do not represent those of the Carolina Panthers. We do not condone violence of any kind. We are taking this matter very seriously and have accordingly addressed it with the individual.” xitter

A source said that the team had parted ways with Rock Thursday morning. Efforts to reach Rock by phone and text message weren’t successful. Rock was an intern for the Panthers’ communications department in 2024 and had recently been promoted to a full-time job in the same department.

Rock wasn’t the only person working with or for the media to be let go by his organization in the wake of Kirk’s fatal shooting over the past 24 hours. MSNBC fired Matthew Dowd, a political analyst, after his on-air comments about Kirk’s death drew criticism, according to a report in The New York Times.

Dowd had said on-air in relation to Kirk’s shooting that “hateful thoughts lead to hateful words, which then lead to hateful actions.” MSNBC’s president apologized for Dowd’s remarks, calling them “inappropriate, insensitive and unacceptable.”

In Arizona, a sportswriter named Gerald Bourguet who covered the NBA’s Phoenix Suns for PHNX Sports is also no longer with that company after remarks he made on social media about Kirk’s death.

PHNX Sports posted on X that “we have addressed this matter with the individual and made the decision to part ways.” Meanwhile, Gaston County Schools and a Huntersville charter school both say they’re investigating social media posts from teachers after Kirk’s fatal shooting.

Didn't even know that. I own both. I just known when I shoot .30-06 theres enough grain in it my shoulder turns purple. A function entirely of the grain and woodstock then.

I have the FNAR I mentioned. Point stands, this is not a difficult shot for anyone.
They are the same diameter, they differ greatly in case length and thus charge. Your shoulder is being honest.

President Trump taking questions from reporters the day after Charlie Kirk's assassination:

"I'm really concerned for our country."

REPORTER: "How do you want to see your supporters respond to [Charlie Kirk's assassinartion]?"

TRUMP: "He was an advocate of non-violence. That's the way I'd like to see people respond."

President Trump says authorities are making "big progress" on finding Charlie's Kirk's murderer, says to stay tuned on a motivation.

"I have indication, but we'll let you know about that later."

"There are radical left lunatics and we are going to get that problem solved". Is he just saying that or is he actually going to do it? Start with ANTIFA. Roll up everyone involved with it and gave it money.

I dont think I agree with that assertion. the force of the blast is going to be distributed at an even rate, a jolt felt in the shoulder from the impact of the round "firing" at the very base of the chamber will impact the end of the barrel before the round has left the gun.

Think about it like this, if I have a lever balance on a single axis, in the center lets say, as I press left on the tail, the front swings to the right with 0 delay as its fulcrumed to a single point. In the marksman example the marskman is the single point of balance, the firing of the round is the action to , oscillate the barrel based on the energy released into to axis point, if there is sufficient friction, or in our example a experienced enough marksmen, the energy with be transferred to the point of the axis, however if there is insufficient friction to absorb or half all this energy, its transferred to the lever itself and begins to spin or atleast change from a true bearing. Keep im mind the Lever example uses horizontal motion where a marksmen would be dealing mostly with vertical but the same physics principles apply except now you need to add gravity to.

I think you have probaly shot guns so long you have developed such a adept response to recoil you forget what it looks like from a noob to feel what that "punch" really does
There's a similar phenomenon in archery where instead of the barrel oscillating it's the arrow that's been loosed. Skilled archers also learn through experience how to compensate.

Highly doubt that Skye dude has anything to do with this. None of his online socials show any interest in shooting or guns, he just posts (bad) experimental music.
The NajraGalvz person has changed all of their socials to read "I am not the shooter" and is obviously tired of the hate bombing.

To be fair, the dude in the pictures they released is just a generic white male and could be anyone.

The ATF also issued a statement stating that what was reported by others in regards to the whole 'trans' thing may have been misinterpreted.

Earlier in the thread someone posted screencaps of his, now scrubbed, socials. He had a finely-curated Pinterest account featuring tacticool gear and Ethel Cain. Didn't see how deep in the rabbit hole he is, but, it's likely he has an interest in firearms and related tac gear if he was adding images of NODS to his fucking Pinterest, of all things.

Did his hospital have a 1.1 star Google review score before or after he probably got downvoted for his hot take? 1.1 stars after 400 reviews is a shockingly bad indication of your business.

a review on nextdoor shows the clinic uses a pride flag in the logo lol that could be it too

Not much backpedaling there. The Leftists NEVER actually apologize for their horrendous behaviour. See: Bud Light. The CEO and the parent organization InBev have NEVER apologized for the Mulvaney fiasco.
Why would they? They are never held accountable for anything. People literally openly expressed sadness when Trump's assassin missed and nothing happened to them.

This was originally put up by a political commentator in South Korea as a sort of tribute post to Charlie Kirk:
Just 6 days ago, on his first visit to South Korea, Charlie Kirk delivered a message that deeply moved the Korean people.

“75 years ago, the communists attacked this great nation. They wanted to conquer and enslave you. Korea was totally isolated, with nowhere to turn, nothing to gain, and nothing to receive. After a bloody war of our own, America stepped up and fought for Korea’s independence. This is what makes America an exceptional nation. We didn’t do it for territory, or money, or to get power. We came here to protect this nation from slavery.”— Speech by Charlie Kirk at KINTEX, Korea, September 5, 2025

We will never forget your sacrifice. Just as the 1.78 million American soldiers who devoted themselves to this nation 75 years ago, your sacrifice, too, will never be in vain.
