I'll put it on my list, but could it also be that "there's no more revolution to fight?" I mean, think about it, 100 years ago, one could honestly make a real argument for communism/socialism. He was a long-time fervent Israel supporter and had only recently started to openly question Israel's stranglehold over the US government. This comes at a time when support of Israel is at an all-time low and there is real danger of the US/Israel alliance falling apart if they lose the Right. See: ADL and Netanyahu's many public panics over the past year. Whether or not they are involved is TBD, but it's a big part of Charlie,s story this year and blowing it off as a possible motive is ridiculous, considering Israel's involvement in some of the US' largest tragedies and Israel's immediate coordinated PR campaign pushing Charlie as a diehard supporter after his death.
