In the modern hellscape that is researching a product before buying in 2025, I no longer trust any sites offering reviews of electronics. Google and Bing are literal shitstains that should go die in a fire for burying any useful information beneath scam sites and AI nonsense.

I have bought no less than four separate chargers for my work UMPC in the last 12 months. All had good reviews that didn't immediately stink of AI, and all were immediately apparent as Chinese crap as soon as I received them. All died soon after. The cost of a charger seems to no longer carry even the vaguest possibility of at least getting something that will last a little while.

While I will concede that my work machine's charger is getting some pretty heavy usage this is still fucking ridiculous. Even brands I used to have reasonably decent opinions of like Anker are now complete garbage too because hey- Why make a good product when you can just pump out the cheapest possible shit and charge the same premium prices?

So I am seeking recommendations for a 110w laptop charger with both USB-C and USB-A ports on it. Please give me recommendations if you have any. I'm so very tired of trying to find information online that isn't AI generated fraudulent bullcrap.

This man has severe USB-C autism, so you may find some data on there: https://www.youtube.com/@AllThingsOnePlace
Otherwise, I personally use a random chinkshit charger I got for free at a conference, it's custom-branded, but the model points me to this:
Just what I was looking for. Thank you.

Gonna give this model a try, may still check out the Youtuber if he's not too much of a faggot. I use this device constantly every day as part of my job so having reliable equipment to keep it powered is pretty crucial to my productivity.

The three good choices are Baseus, Ugreen and Anker. From the channel @Burnt Effigy has linked, these are the chargers that I own are the Baseus GaN2 Pro 100W and the Anker 511 Nano III 30W.
The Baseus is a beast, it can charge my laptop, phone, flashlight and powerbank all at the same time. Great to have in your bag, cuts on the bulk when it's one heap of transistors and four cables. Baseus also makes fantastic USB cables, great chink brand, up there with Ugreen.
The Anker is just a neat simple tiny charger, good enough to power my Pinecil so it's a good option if you want something smol for smol use.

My galaxy for some reason only likes them.
If it's about Super Fast Charging, Samsung's using really weird PPS configurations that most chargers will not support at all for it.
That's why some shitty chargers may work with SFC (my chinkshit brick does), but some branded, quality chargers don't.

I've been using an Anker 5 port charger since 2017ish. I've never thought about replacing it and won't until it shits the bed. It'll get replaced by another Anker.

In case you haven't seen the story, here is a reminder that cheap knock off USB chargers can kill you. I prefer to use chargers that are the same brand as whatever device I am using. I know that I am overpaying for marked up accessories, but I don't care because this always works for me. I also like stuff by Anker.

Going through chargers so quickly has me wondering if bad electrical wiring or dirty power is the root cause of your problem. Could this have been caused by brownouts or power surges? Have you been using the same USB cable the whole time? Maybe the cable can't properly handle all the power you are drawing. It probably wouldn't hurt to get a USB cable rated for 240 watts just in case.

Anker makes fantastic chargers, UGREEN makes fantastic nylon braid charging cables.

Generally as with any consumer electronics you should stay away from low effort chinese sounding names like TUONO or shit like that
