It just doesn't seem fair that we have nudes of Leslie Jones, but not Goggles. Oh, well...This pic came up when I googled.

Goggles has nudes. They're behind a pay wall.
Which paywall?Goggles has nudes. They're behind a pay wall.
Jesus Christ. When I heard JesuOtaku was a tranny some time ago, I assumed she used to be a man and thought to myself "well, I can see that, kinda. She always looked off a little." to learn now that she's actually transitioning now to become a man is totally out of left field for me...Yes. Now he's working for Anime News Network, making a visual novel, and undergoing gender transition. Also taking bad selfies.
TBH I figured that Phelous left when Lupa did I mean they were and still are a couple from what I understand and they took Sad Panda,Welshy and AWD with them.
I am very PLEASED to announce that Andrew Dickman, Allison Pregler and myself, Mr. Porthole, have parted ways with “Channel Also”
Goggles was always pretty cute and she has an amazing rack. Problem is I've never gotten the chance to see it. So you know, if somebody has them and would like to... share them for... research purposes I'm sure it would be appreciated. This pic came up when I googled.

Phelous left CA over some really petty shit that Doug seemed to drag him into.
Doug paid Phelan to make the special effects for the "To Boldly Flee" special, which he did. Phelan send them to Doug, who (according to Phelan) responded "LOVE IT LOVE IT LOVE IT LOVE IT LOVE IT LOVE IT". Now, some time later, someone started to question whether or not Phelan had really done his best or if he might have given them the shaft by intentionally half-assing it. Doug then decided to "investigate" this, by instructing "Welshy" to talk to Phelan and trying to worm the secret out of him, however he instead asked him straight away, since Welshy and Phelan are friends and he saw no reason to betray Phelan in this manner.
Phelan, who had been disenchanted with CA for quite some time (due to its size and it losing its 'tight knitted group of friends doing silly things' feeling) decided to leave CA some point in the future.
Exactly. He's supposedly like that in real life as well. Like when him Brad and Allison went to see some movie for Brad's Midnight Reviews. After a couple minutes he leans over to them and says, "we've made a terrible mistake" as if to say, "this movie sucks, why did we come see it?". Or I think it was very our own @LordKaT who mentioned during the filming of Kickassia how he ruined a take by saying (of Doug), "gee he's acting like a real director!".That's why I love Phelous, dude just doesn't give a shit.
That'd be the one, yes.
Edit: Probably not a lolcow, either. She basically used Doug to get a new audience (though she may have been a fan).
In his Blog entry, Phelan writes one of the last straws to break the camels back was the moment someone called "Holly" was fired. Apparently, she was one of the few people in management that actually gave a shit and tried to stay in contact with creators, rather than treating them like peons with the mere task to rake in views and ad revenue.Yeah I knew all this stuff. I just found the timing for this to be suspect and thought the firing of Lupa to be the final straw. You know you're pissed off at your job but you've put in so much time and effort and you like your co-workers but one of your bosses is a complete asshole and the other is a spineless twerp. So you continue until there's no reason to.
In their Foodfight review, there's one scene where he's doing that on camera. Lupa is doing some over-the-top reaction and Phelan goes "Quite some acting over there" in a really deadpan way and the other two just crack up.Exactly. I don't really know, but it seems he was the only one to make fun of his co-creators idiotic storylines, pointed out how annoying the pre-video advertisements were and stuff like that.
On a side note, Doug was a massive asshole over Patreon, actually trying to forbid his cashcows from promoting their Patreon in their videos - which was a massive source of conflict.
I assume, Doug tried to prevent his precious cashcows from becoming independent (maybe in reaction to Spoony going "Fuck this shit"?).
And wouldn't you know, the moment the Phelous.com exodus began, suddenly the other people could freely plug their patreon accounts.
I love that part. It's just so him.In their Foodfight review, there's one scene where he's doing that on camera. Lupa is doing some over-the-top reaction and Phelan goes "Quite some acting over there" in a really deadpan way and the other two just crack up.
Phelan just didn't care. And I really wish he'd go back to doing movie reviews. So many of them have walked away from that now with all the DMCA takedowns of their videos. It's a shame because him and Brad Jones were the two highlights of the site who put out regular content.I don't really know, but it seems he was the only one to make fun of his co-creators idiotic storylines, pointed out how annoying the pre-video advertisements were and stuff like that.
Maybe @LordKaT can confirm this but I understood that the members of Channel Awesome were in a sense independent contractors and weren't paid by CA for their work there. The idea being that they were given a platform to do their thing and they got whatever Youtube money they made off it it but anything accessed through CA would go to Mike Michaud, Rob Walker and whomever else is in charge there. So their Paymetons wouldn't have really affected anything.
That's one of the reasons that Spoony gave for leaving. According to him when they were doing "To Boldly Flee" he was doing quite well with is Paymetons and Youtube money and merch and wanted to get paid for his work on the yearly anniversary special. Usually CA would just fly them over, put them up in a hotel room and pay for certain things but he demanded actual payment for his services because it was taking away from his "business".
He got it but the trouble he went through added to his problems with management at CA and he wanted out. The whole fallout with JO and twitter was just the icing on the cake. He's still welcome back if he wants to go back to CA but he just can't work for them because they would demand a more rigid schedule.
I love that part. It's just so him.

It could have been worse. Imagine sharing your hotel room with Linkara.CA producers (when I was there) weren't even contractors. I signed jack shit, had zero agreements. The only revenue I had was my blip revenue, and that was it.
Phelan might've had a different situation though.
Also, don't forget that CA had us do extra work specifically for them - supposedly to help cover the cost of the anniversary video. So in addition to not getting paid, not getting fed, and barely getting any recognition for a shit load of work out in the Reno desert we got to film crossovers and just give it to CA.
I'm so thrilled to even imagine doing shit like that again, let me tell you.

So people brought up Holly, I have a question for you @LordKaT.
When did she start showing up on your podcast? I know you guys brought her up for the quiz show discussion, but since she wasn't 'introduced' there or anything, I was taken aback.
Sorry, didn't want to dredge up any bad memories you had of that place but yeah I'm not surprised in the least by what you said although I thought they would have at least flown you out there and set you up.CA producers (when I was there) weren't even contractors. This is the first time I'm hearing about the dismissal post. I especially love how CA tries to be professional about the whole thing and handwave it away, then misspell "Porteous" as "Porthole".Jesus Christ. Also, that fucking nose... It looks like it's build as an air-intake for supersonic speeds.

When Phelan finally announced that he'd leave, Mike quickly tried to contact Lupa, however she wasn't available, so he instantly fired her and there was a text on CA stating that they are very sad to announce that Phelous, Lupa, etc had to leave. They even misspelled Phelan's name, which lead him to release a blog stating that
