After the last 3 years, you really need to add "burn it all down" or "accelerationist" as options.

My politics are that I want everyone dead, but I'm willing to make a compromise if we can at least get rid of journalists, politicians, trannies, pedophiles, advertising executives, three letter agents, anyone who works for the board of education, and park rangers.
What have park rangers done?

There's no objectively right or wrong political ideology that a person can identify as. Politics hinge solely on the arbitrary election of a human and how the country and state turns out hinges entirely on the politicians actions. You can argue that the tools that that politician has plays a role in how that person shapes the country (in this case government elected mandates, regulations, etc.) but you would need to argue that a gun is as much of a tool when someone kills another by shooting them.

There are some political ideologies that are statistically impossible to achieve like Anarchy, Socialism, Libertarianism, and Communism. The core foundational belief of Marxist ideologies is that humans have a role to play to keep an economic statistic or result constant either through support of the people (socialism) or support of the state (communism). Economics are, by nature, an arbitrary statistic that cannot be predicted and cannot be planned. It's long spergout here that can go on for an entire novel, so I'll just cut it shorts. Humans, by nature are arbitrary (I'm going to use this word a lot). Mindsets and mentalities are nurtured from experience, but they are also by nature. If they are naturally not able to contribute to this planned statistic in economics, that human is objectively worthless. Many cases in communist societies, the matter of why means fuck all. So what do they do? They replace them. This is why socialism and communism are impossible governments because they all require that economics are planned. And you cannot plan an economy.

So where do I stand then? Personally, I'm a progressive capitalist. What this means is that my core foundational belief is that I accept that an economy is arbitrary and there will be businesses and humans that end up failing or becoming worthless while others will thrive and succeed. I also believe that things will eventually change and new policy or reform needs to be made to stay ahead of that arbitrary curve that eventually comes up. Technology changes, the human mindset changes, demographics change, everything changes and I believe it's up to the government to reform itself when those changes come up.

So what are those reforms? Personally, I think that if we're to maintain a core foundational principle of America needs to remain constant (free speech), we need to address where people are able to express themselves. Social media so far is the biggest. Why do I think they need to be reformed through the government? Because they declare themselves as public forums, but this is a complete oxymoron because of how they manage it. Speech is highly regulated on these platforms where certain beliefs about race, ideology, and gender are essentially swung in one direction and one direction only. This is a complete violation of the constitutional principle that was created back in the day and so I think that companies should have a choice in either they declare themselve public (such as twitter) or they declare themselves private (mastodon) and if they declare themselves public, they need to subject themselves to regulations that means that they have no right to remove content that does not violate the law.

So that's where I stand. I don't think any political ideology is necessarily objectively wrong, it's, to me, just different colors of capitalism.

I don't label myself because the moment I do I associate myself with a bunch of other people with the same label who are completely retarded.
exactly. if i say i'm a liberal/conservative/whatever people will automatically assume i have the same opinions as other retards who call themselves the same thing. its just not worth it

Well, until about 2018 or so, I would have said somewhere on the Left, in the typology you listed in the poll, I'd have probably said liberal or progressive.

The last five years of ridiculous race-based idpol and relentless promotion of gender ideology in leftist circles has pushed me firmly into the "classical liberal" camp. I am a firm believer in free speech, and that's something the left simply won't abide these days. I don't like authoritarians of any stripe. I didn't like the Rightist authoritarianism during the Bush Jr. era, but I really can't fucking stand the "right side of history" crowd that makes up the majority of the Left today.

A pox on all of them. As George Carlin said, "It's a big club, and you aren't in it."

so you are stuck in the early 2000s

I voted liberal; I reject the notion that in order to be left-wing that someone needs to buy into all the current day woke nonsense. Not really too surprised by the poll results except that I didn't realize how many libertarians that we have on the site. I'd be interested to see the political alignment of the Beauty Parlor since it (outside of maybe Stinkditch) seems to have the most disaffected liberals. I think the main thing that people need to keep in mind is that virtually all Kiwis, regardless of political ideology, share a few common elements, like a hatred of the empty virtue signaling that has become ubiquitous in the left-wing elitist circles and the recognition that many trans identifiying people are weirdos and sexual deviants.
