I'm coming back to this thread. A fascinating subject. Let me touch on the subject of bearding first.
Aaron goddamn Rodgers. /sp/ had so much fun with how much he compensated over the rumors of him being gay.
(december 2013, iirc)
At 00:40 - "I really, really like women"
"That's all I can say about that"
Searching the name Kevin Lanflisi (former roommate) along with aaron's sure lead to some interesting results:
Anyways, he went out with Olivia Munn starting in 2014! See? He's totally straight. It's fine.
Anyways, what even became of Olivia Munn? I don't remember seeing her in anything after that X-men movie where she was Psylocke and famously didn't say anything of note. Her dialogue was 100% generic.
"Split them up"
"His fighting days are over" are legit the only lines I remember from her in that film. I know they broke up around 2017.
So, someone way earlier brought up how beauty pageants actually work in Venezuela.
Now I'll give you a piece of Argentina.
In the 2000s, up until like, the mid 2010s, people still did somewhat care about "celebrities" - though from memory, there were a fair amount of them who were on the talentless side, and seemed to exist to have fake feuds for the cameras.
Anyways, point being, one celeb actress in Argentine who's very well known is Florencia Peña. She's likely best known these days for her role in Casados Con Hijos (Married with Children), being the sassy wife with big boobs in that.
A little scandal took place in may 2020 and was revisited in 2024.
The story goes that she met with Argentina's president at the time, Alberto Fernandez, pictured here:
(This image is used as a meme in the country every now and then)
Let's back up: May 2020. That was when COVID restrictions were tight. What was so important that they needed to meet, in person? Why couldn't they meet via zoom or something like that?
Supposedly, she wanted to suggest ideas for helping actors with emergency aid, because, you see, the government used to pump money towards actors in the country, before Milei shut that off.
The president responded telling her to give ideas.
They met in person on may 14, 2020 at the Quinta de Olivos - the official residence of the president, for about an hour.
In 2021, this was odd, but whatever. No biggie.
In 2024, Fabiola Yañez (first lady during Alberto's presidency - but not actually married to him) alleged domestic violence on august 6, among other things. Her filing included a ton of content, including text messages, audios, medical reports.
So, with that bit of hindsight, that meeting with Florencia and Alberto sure looks a lot more suspicious. Flor defended herself claiming there was a misogynist campaign against her. In big 2024, using that cope. Embarrassing. There's rumors of an elevator video with her and Alberto. Who knows about that one, though? That shit would have definitely gotten leaked by now.
Nowadays, since no one really cares about many "celebrities" in the country, influencers are the ones getting their cut.
(archive.is seems to be down at the moment)
Months ago, a female influencer slut went missing in the US. Dontworrybebunny, real name revealed per the missing person report.
She was found soon enough. The real meat to this story is in the top comment, which I'll translate:

Perroc: She's a VIP escort. A few years ago, she created a clothing business to try to clean up her image, and come off like a real entrepreneur, but business went down, and so she had to go back to working as a ho. Her last (ig) stories were from an LA mansion where she was super medicated, saying that she was being spied on, and thousands of conspiracy theories. People just thought she was crazy, and she stopped posting stories. 2 years ago, she did a live stream while drunk, and started talking about how many famous argentine women would work as VIP hoes in Miami, tulum (mexico) and los angeles, said that the fee was between 500 and 1000 dollars depending on the person. She also gave some names like Iara Miranda, and then uploaded stories about how she got threatened for giving names. Thus, she never talked about the subject again.
