Well, she has aged remarkably well.

For Ingrid Bergman's birthday, I have to say, her accent, abnormal height and impeccable acting prowess is bar none, especially for a foreign actress. Her daughters have clearly inherited their mother's charm and talent.

Oh, and she spoke five languages.

All fluently and beautifully.

French born, and is able to be witty and funny with her baby face. (Her face also refined with age.) And great legs.

My top 3 for now are:
1. Kristen Bell. Ridiculously bubbly energy, she’d be a lot of fun to be around and I am eternally jealous of Dax.

2. Elizabeth Olsen. Wandavision cemented this for me. She generally comes across as a pleasant person, and has a warmth about her.

3. Natalie Dormer. She has a lot of confidence. She also feels like she can switch from fun and personable to sensual at any moment. I really can’t think of any actress that has her level of charisma.


I usually prefer darker features on women so this reflection was a bit of a surprise for me, lmao.

@Hey Johnny Bravo can vouch for this as well. Gloria Swanson, best known for playing an has-been silent film star in Sunset Boulevard. An instant classic.

I say this a lot, but next to Joan Crawford, Gloria Swanson has aged tremendously. Her sharp facial features resonates onto the camera as she gazes effortlessly.



After Hollywood (or specifically Sunset Bouelvard,) she ventured into other avenues. Clothing lines for older people, theatre, yoga and even politics.

Actually, I'll give the nod to Swanson over Crawford for "well-aged Hollywood actress." These eyebrows and eyes are hypnotizing.

I don't even know what that is.

Anyway, my ultimate answer for this thread would have to be Joan Crawford. Nobody I know of yet has the talent, tenacity or dedication to transform a character into a memorable masterpiece and showpiece of acting.

Straightjacket, Mildred Pierce, Harriet Craig, both Possessed films, Rain, whatever film she starred in, she always brought her A tier. Whatever era she was around, she was glamour personified.

Perhaps my favorite Joan Crawford era would have to be her 60s-70s.



I've never seen a woman age as gracefully as she did. Smile, eyes, cheeks, skin complexion, it's magnificent how she took great care of herself. Her outfit attire from each decade shows her expertise in coordination and fashion design.

What more can I say about her that isn't already known? She is THE Golden Age Hollywood actress in my eyes.

Fun fact: The Irish Film Board, who provided ratings to film and were fairly trigger happy with anything that constituted overtly violent, pornographic, or offensive material (Pornography was illegal in Ireland until 1991, there was a law against Blasphemy until 2009, and on top you had the Satanic Panic and Snuff Movie panic like you did in other parts of the world.)
In short, if there was a controversy about a movie in the world, Ireland would ban it. This was especially true in the 80s.
Anyway, the preisdent of the IFB was apparently a massive Ingrid Bergman fan, so much so that he vetoed a ban on the movie Blue Velvet despite its controversy, and for years Blue Velvet was the only David Lynch movie you could rent or broadcast in Ireland.

I damn that book, movie, and Christina for tarnishing Joan Crawford’s legacy. No way in hell Joan was abusive to anybody.

I love her soft-spoken voice from interviews and her roles. She was smarter than a lot of people know about. A tragic figure of how Hollywood can eat you alive and spit you out without a care.
