Celebrities You Find Attractive - Who makes your head turn in admiration?

Speaking of '95 Pride and Prejudice, it’s surprising how hot everyone is. Even Lydia’s hot and Mrs. Bennet too. You don’t notice they're attractive because they're gurning all the time, or they look like they smell a fart.

Jennifer Ehle and Susannah Harker look like oil paintings.

They’re almost old biddies now but they held onto those looks for twenty years after the show. I almost think they could’ve swapped roles. Harker could do the class resentment thing and Ehle could do the wallflower thing. Interesting to theorize.
There is some magic to this TV series, perfectly cast, translated to the screen perfectly, and is wholly rewatchable. The BBC has tried this so many times and has failed to match it.

I still get this nerd thrill whenever I’m watching British TV and suddenly P&P alumni appear. Oh shit it’s Wickham.

Lydia was in one season of Jonathan Creek. Fans found her annoying. :story: (That’s unfair since the whole premise is the character getting bullied by women.)

They were playing reruns of this show at work and I remembered how much I miss this big bitch. Built like a refrigerator.

I don't find muscular men attractive.
It’s a funny one, that. I don’t like the chiselled look or the bloated gym look but I do like a man who looks like he could throw you over his shoulder with ease.

The casting was perfection. Alison steadman is brilliant as mrs. Bennet. It’s actually a plot point in the novel that she’s good looking - Mr. bennet married her for her looks and has spent the next twenty years quietly regretting it in his study.
Mr Bennet] captivated by youth and beauty, and that appearance of good humour, which youth and beauty generally give, had married a woman, whose weak understanding, and illiberal mind, had, very early in the marriage, put an end to any real affection for her. Respect, esteem, and confidence, had vanished forever; and all of his views of domestic happiness were overthrown. But Mr Bennet was not of a disposition to seek 'comfort' for the disappointment which his own imprudence had brought on, in any of those pleasures which too often console the unfortunate of their folly or vice . He was fond of the country and of books, and from these tastes had arisen his principal enjoyments.

How appropriate and fitting for International Women's Day (March 8th) that it's also Cyd Charisse's birthday today.

Her defining dancing style and acting prowess has awarded her the National Medal of the Arts & Humanities in 2006.

She looks Hispanic in her younger years (those legs,) Doris Day with her figure, and Diane Baker when meeting the Bushes for her medal.

Yeah I sort of gathered that Mrs. Bennet was the Lydia of her generation. Before the events of the book Mr. Bennet was just some fuckboy who saw Mrs. Bennet at a dance and then years later he’s hiding in the library because he's realized he stuck his dick in crazy.:story:

Honestly p and p is such a fabulous observation of social everything. Jane Austen just nails every bit of human behaviour she observes.

This thread is an existential problem for me because our celebrities have negative aura. I'm trying to figure out if it’s because American stars are just so overexposed compared to everyone else, or if it’s because the job now is debasing yourself on red carpets and in advertisements...

Some soap actor in the UK can still be hot because they haven’t been forced to participate.

I don’t bat for plastic whores but hypothetically, if you gave me the “peak human with skills” trope from comics and again, hypothetically, if you gave me the gear, I’d probably Collateral-style kill every man who’s ever been in the same room as Salma Hayek.

I wouldn’t do anything else, nothing horrible, but her French husband is definitely going to hell.

So yes, she was extremely hot during my developmental years and still is.

I’ve complained about this before, but the reason I watched whatever garbage western-adjacent movie this was...

...was because the marketing strongly implied that Salma's huge melons would be bobbling around in a corset, but none of that happened.

Speaking of movies I only watched for the nudity...

Parker Posey. She was integral to the "Frat Pack" era, and has stayed relevant in the modern era.

I actually can’t watch Salma Hayek movies, one because they mostly suck (After the Sunset is a guilty pleasure for two obvious reasons) and two, that green-eyed monster starts acting up.

But she’s the only celebrity that gets the sin going. The rest of the plastic whores do nothing for me.

Sarah Douglas is one of my earliest examples of actresses I find attractive.

Is it weird that I find her voice really sexy?

Speaking of extreme hotness, your avatar. Goddamn, Pierce Brosnan is hot.

Pierce might be the best-looking Bond overall. Unfortunately people want a Bond who looks like he fought in wars before becoming an actor. Connery looks like if you insulted him he would literally drown you in a sink. That’s the Bond people respond to.

Just kidding. The actress who plays Beatrice is married to Stephen Graham. Usually when someone's wife is in the movie, it's the director's missus "LOOK HOW HOT MY WIFE IS." But in this movie she looks like one of those floaters they pull out of the East River on SVU.

Excuse me, he’s the Architect and his work is impressive.

I think they’re a lovely couple. She’s really nice looking, she’s a bit bigger than when he married her but she’s very pretty, she looks great for her age, she’s in her sixties and she could pass for 10 years younger, and he clearly adores her. And yes, he’s aged like fine wine. Would.
