Celebrities: Then & Now

Ugh, what is going on with his SKIN around the midsection?? It looks like he’s melting.
When you weigh over 300lbs and lose it too quickly the skin stays loose and stretched out. You can sort of control it if you lose the weight very slowly so the skin can sort of recede (if that's the right word, probably not), but usually people that size need surgery to remove the extra skin left over.

My favorite then vs now among celebs is Ethan Suplee.

What a shame we'll never get a much deserved My Name Is Earl finale. I want unexplained fit Randy to happen.
Linda dropped a bunch of weight within the last six or seven years. She was looking chunky in Defiance, but looks good on Resident Alien now. And good on her for never falling down the facelift/botox/fillers trap.

Eww...Yuck!

I recognize a number of these actors & actresses from old movies I’ve watched and I indeed wondered what happened to them. Of course, not every thespian can become an A-list actor - there’s room for only a few of them at any given moment.

Yes, that makes sense. And don’t drink alcohol too much or at all. People simply need to have a bit of self-discipline. It’s not difficult to do.

All of that will slow down the aging process, but it won’t stop it. If a cure for aging isn’t found before I turn 30, I don’t know if I’ll continue to want to live. I don’t want to look old EVER!
"Care not for whom the bell tolls, it tolls for thee..."

You're going to age, you're going to look old, you're going to go bald or grey, you're going to have wrinkles, you're going to sag. Just accept it. The rest of the world will too. Don't be so vain as to kill yourself before you're 30; and don't buy into cosmetic surgery, trying to make yourself look young when your body is not built for it. It always looks bad. Old can be a good look, it's dignified, it shows intelligence and a life well lived. All this paranoia around aging is just youthful stupidity. The best way to look good is to live good; stay healthy, eat well, drink well, get outside, wear sunscreen. Train, Eat Your Vitamins, Say Your Prayers, and Believe in Yourself.

I don’t want ANY of that to happen.

Look, there have been some incredible medical breakthroughs in the past 50 years, so why not one more: a cure for the disease of aging.

I think we can all agree that a cure for human aging WILL BE FOUND at some point. Why not within the next few years? And that cure would also prevent most of the cancers from occurring since something like 80% of all cancers happen to people in their 60s and beyond. Cancer is fundamentally an old person’s disease.

This isn’t technically a Then & Now image, but it is a startling example of how drastically makeup can change a woman’s appearance.
