Cartoon Reviewers

Dude needs to seriously log off, his tweets are greatly concerning and even though he's trying to act all cool and smug about the trolling it's obvious it's getting under his skin. I've never been in such a horrific situation myself, so I can't say for certain what is good and bad coping, but his obsession to 'return to normalcy' and project it all publicly for his viewers to see doesn't strike me as healthy in the slightest.

So Schaff is back making videos again, just like that? (I know I'm late heheh...)
I remember right after the wreck, several people here theorized that he was done with youtube for good.
And it appears to basically be the exact same shit as before, going by the thumbnails and titles. Not going to bother watching. I'll admit I was wrong at how fast he has bounced back but honestly it's sadder to me that he's continuing to do this same stuff. It's probably his coping mechanism after what happened in this case, but maybe he actually realizes enough he'd have to keep working menial jobs if he doesn't keep pushing this to be a career and that's outweighed his grief for now. Sucky situation for him regardless of what his current thought process is.

I mean he did openly say after the car crash that making videos are one of the few things that make him happy.

Why did he ever disappear bro was one of the more funny reviewers. Toonrific Tariq wishes he was as funny as Mars.
For real his shit was funny as fuck. And his retrospectives were actually really good too. Dude just fucked off right when covid started, so I guess he got stuck in a job or something. But he still posts memes on Twitter occasionally.

I'll admit I was wrong and was even surprised by how much content Schaff has put out since. He actually does address the tradgedy for the first time in his newest video though:

I was gonna say comparing the loss of a pet bird one of the cartoon characters had to losing your IRL friends is peak fucking SOY, but then I figured "yknow if they were alive, they'd probably find that funny, hopefully" So I'll keep that thought to myself.

I'm sure they would. None of these guys had to deal with the death of a parent like I did.

Última edición:
my favorite thing about cartoon reviewers is the sense of ownership they have over franchises and properties they outright admit they dont like. Mr Enter was similar with Teen Titans Go, but the reason why it's funny to me is it always leads to them suggesting fixes that reveal both their own inept idea of how to tell a story but also how out of touch they are with the target audience of the thing. It's like Moviebob with his nintendo chauvinism, trying to suggest how to "fix" Shadow the Hedgehog

Are there any anime or cartoon reviewers who aren't lolcows or at least don't have an inflated sense of ego?
