Actually, knowing that fact - it makes sense why the plot of that show was executed so badly; The secondary characters or setting don't matter, really - what was always important is that the stand-in for Daron (Star) and the stand-in for her husband (Marco) become the main focus, are succesful (Even when it's unwarranted) and end up together.I'll never stop laughing at the fact that Star Vs The Forces Of Evil is Daron Nefcy's CWCville and the reason she gave Jackie(who is based on her friend from highschool that she was jealous of for being more attractive) an ugly black lesbian girlfriend at the end is because she was mad that everyone wanted her to end up with Marco who is based on her husband.
