The Larry the Cable Guy movie made more profit than any of these people will ever see in their lives. Lightyear made $0. Elemental, while it’s making more than Lightyear, is still on track to make $0.So recently an article was published on Insider.com about Pixar, and why it's recent movies aren't doing so well.

Lasseter had an actual sense of whether these things would make money. You can make your passion projects all you want, yet if your last like six movies made a total $0 profit for the company because they either got forced onto streaming or just nobody liked them, then something needs to give, and it may just be you.
