Carrie Fisher's mom had a stroke (update: SHE DEAD TOO) - H Ford, u next nigga

Debbie Reynolds just suffered a medical emergency, which we're told is a possible stroke ... and EMTs just raced to the scene, TMZ has learned.

Debbie was at her son Todd Fisher's home in Beverly Hills and just after 1 PM someone from the house called 911.

We're told 84-year-old Debbie, whose daughter, Carrie, died Tuesday, has been distraught since Carrie's emergency Friday on a United jet.

Family sources tell us they called 911 to report a possible stroke.

The ambulance just took Debbie to a nearby emergency room.

Debbie was at Todd's house discussing funeral plans for Carrie.

I'm sure Carrie's death has a lot to do with the stroke. Debbie Reynolds is 84 years old; in all likelihood she assumed that she would die before her children and had nothing to worry about. And then her only daughter- who she almost lost to mental illness and drug abuse a few decades ago but had since cleaned up- has a massive and totally unexpected heart attack and dies just two days after Christmas.

I feel horrible for any parent who has outlived a child. But it's even more painful when that parent is elderly and has stopped worrying about that possibility, only for it to happen anyway.
 
If she follows her daughter that's gonna be pretty fucked up, especially for the brother. He's gonna lose his sister and mother all within the span of days.

How very sad!
Death gave old lady Reynolds the finger by taking her daughter and now, this.
I wish I could give death an A-log rating for doing this and refusing to kill off social justice.
I had a feeling this might happen; she had to live through Taylor taking her man and then outliving her daughter.

No, what I meant is that Billie herself has lost both her grandmother and mother.
I think I'd be slightly more prepared to loose both a mother and a sister at Todd's age when compared to a young girl in her early 20s who just lost her mother and grandmother.
 
So Todd lost his mother and sister and Billie lost her mother and grandmother within 48 hours. I can't even imagine what they're going through. They were already planning one funeral, now they have another one to worry about.

And it may sound dramatic, but I think Debbie died of a broken heart. Yes, she still had her son and granddaughter, but losing a child so suddenly is extremely traumatic.
