Ralph's life is like a Greek tragedy where the protagonist is a piece of shit but there's still an element to their story where they could have turned it all around.

I'm pretty sure anyone who is capable of learning this has learned this besides maybe Aaron Imholte. Aaron is retarded for associating with Ralph whatsoever, but at least he seemingly keeps a safe enough distance away to minimize the inevitable backsplash. Any distance that isn't outright ignoring him and/or laughing at him is still way too close IMO.

I'd say how someone finds themselves in this predicament is beyond me, but that'd be a lie. Observing Ralph from 2018 to now fills in all the variables and provides all the context you could possibly need. Then, you learn about the Ralphahistory and Ralphabloodlines before he even got the tiniest crumb of e-notoriety from sucking on the teets of GooberGobber? It only makes sense. Da prospect of greatness was never on da table for da Ralphamale, but all this could only happen to someone like him.
On one hand, you have to assume Ralph understands his only entertainment value is deriven from pilling out and going Super Ralphapurple on stream. However, he also knows just how destructive that is for his mental and physical health. As much as he hollers about not caring, Ralph is highly sensitive and cares about not dying very much, LOL.
On the other, Ralph also knows just how utterly unwatchable he is otherwise. His boring news shit, where he looks at his phone for hours on end, loses da gaylog audience. Those are the ones who chip in legitimate $3-$5 donos, which are much more real than the daily $50-$100 ones that always managed to save da meaningless goal at the last minute. I mean, Ralph's one remaining clipper, @Die For Me!, basically gave up during the last prolonged stint. Hell, I don't even think Ralph can capture da gaylog's eyes if he's hollerin' at people without being totally fucked up because it's just so sad and pathetic.
TBF, while I hope that does happen, I also enjoy watching him suffer and impotently seethe on his kitchen chair. It's like a front row seat to watching a homeless man without any of the drawbacks.
