There is no possible way that any sort of pain medication for a house cat would have the necessary potency for long term, heavy drug abuser like Ralph would even be able to get a buzz.

Cats and small dogs get such a tiny fraction of a human dose of Xanax that it wouldn't touch his tolerance. .125 mg of xanax is nothing to a dude throwing back 8-12 mg a day, a month's supply wouldn't last him the morning.
