The lobster king+penis washer who demands the government take away Internet anonymity and literally breaks down in tears because of his love for Israel was never all there to begin with.
But more to the point, benzos/alcohol/opiates all work on the same center of the brain. Withdrawing from alcohol? Take a Xanax and your hands quit shaking so much. Ralph's been mixing his drugs and alcohol long enough to know that as well as anyone.
The real risk (and why Peterson was sedated) is because out of the three aforementioned drugs, benzos have the highest rate of inducing seizures and death from withdrawal. Heroin withdrawal is excruciating but you're likely just going to cry and shit yourself, while alcohol combines the effects of both of those withdrawals while being somewhat less dangerous than benzo withdrawal.
What we're looking on stream right now is probably Ralph on a single bar and just the hair of the dog. If he were completely cold turkey right now he would be an absolute mess. The weed is helping his nerves but it wouldn't be able to hold back totally unmitigated withdrawal.

Yeah, I believe he's trying to nip it in the bud with xanax but depending on another traumatic event it may be enough for him to just double down on the substance abuse. His diet is also an absolute mess, that just makes matters worse if he's trying to dry out.

Diet is definitely a big factor.
I'm sure he has a major imbalance of Omega-6 : Omega 3, which causes all of the inflammation wrongly attributed to just muh seed oils. But also deficient in B vitamins, which is what causes "wet brain". Couple that with his definite lack of water and he's in for a rough couple final years.
I've really hated this most recent benzo bender. It was hard to imagine Ralph being worse than his typical drunk self but he proved it was possible for a good 2 weeks straight.

I don't see him totally quitting Xanax since it's as OTC down there as tequila but he might try to get his body into a sort of cycle where he alternates.

The problem with this is that alternating his withdrawals can have a kindling effect so he may have worse and worse moments following these binging-sudden tapering instances.

This is incorrect. Benzos and alcohol act on GABA receptors and the difference in their effects and withdrawal symptoms is largely due to them having different affinities for the various GABA receptor subtypes. Opiates act on opioid receptors and have totally different effects and withdrawal. Alcohol withdrawal isn't really comparable to opiate withdrawal except for in a very vague sense.

Something else I think has happened to Ralph since he’s in Mexico is a something I’ve seen with Expats in the 3rd world.
I don’t know if there’s a general term for it, it could be technically classed as “culture shock”. What I mean for Ralph is that he is probably binging because of how cheap everything in Mexico is.
I met a few expats who turned into fucking drunks because they arrive and are like “Holyshit, this is only 50 cents ?! Back home this costs like $6!!!! *glug glug glug*”
Same goes for smoking, I know a lot of people who quit smoking just because of how prohibitively expensive it got and annoying that you can’t smoke indoors. Go to mexico or any other 3rd world shit hole and now you can smoke a carton a day on a fry cooks salary.
So I’m sure Ralph is going Hog-wild with all the fake ass booze he can buy.

He was going to do that regardless of cost. He's got no friends, no relatives, and he spite married/impregnated his wife.
Every day is the exact same. He has no goals that extend beyond that day. He's in horrendous shape and is not in great health. The only thing that brings him joy in life is being angry which in turn, makes things worse. And sooner or later, being mad on the Internet won't even bring temporarily relief anymore.

With all the blabbering Ralph does all day, does he ever talk about parenting his little daughter? It doesn’t seem like he does and that is hella sad. He really does expect May to do all the parenting of the baby. Ralph seems to take no joy from parenting and he talks about his children like they are status symbols.
A couple times he is yelling at Pantsu you can clearly hear a baby crying in the background. He was asking her something about sucking a dick and he just kept trying to get her attention while the baby was crying. Most people would intuitively let the Mother attend to her screaming infant. Not the Ralpha Retard. I think he is jealous of his Baby getting all of Amanda’s attention.
That motherfucker even has the nerve to bitch to her about not doing enough to help out with the show. The other day he even blamed her for not getting guests for the show. Amanda, you knew what you were getting into with this guy and it’s infuriating that an infant has to be around all this. Faith was an immature 18 year old. You are a grown ass woman and should have really watched out for yourself.
One last thing…. Ethan Ralph is so poor he can’t get his wife a cell phone or a $60 game.

Perhaps TMI but i can't agree more, been on Benzo tours and i say never again, it's the worst medical drug to come off on. That's why "smart" junkies only uses benzo in moderate level after coming off on something else.
