Mitsubishi has been talking recently about wanting to enter the US truck market again, but they don’t have any US factories which will be difficult since the chicken tax still exists.
Mitsubishi won't rush it either because they already have a large market in Asia. Money from Fuso (Mitsubishis' truck division) helps them stays afloat, even when the car sales tanks.

Got a 05 Hyundai XG350L as my car, it's a old luxury model, heated leather seats, 8 changer CD player, big 3.5 liter V6, but that's not the point. I was at Walmart yesterday and I stumbled upon something. A aux to tape converter. I forgot these existed. Now I can blast my phone through the quite nice sound system. It also allows me to take calls without fucking with the phone, just by pressing a button. I love old beaters :D

Somewhat car related but car Youtuber HooviesGarage has been selling a lot of cars lately.
People in the comments and autists of /o/ have noticed that he’s not wearing a wedding ring. People thought it was just a coincidence, till he revealed on his latest video that he wasn’t wearing any rings that would’ve caused damage on his rental. Everyone’s speculating that his Asian mail bride is divorcing him

Car wizard stays winning with his Kansas trade wife

I'm beginning to realize people will watch anything on youtube. Should I start filming my cars when I'm working on them? I'm not much of an extrovert but I have tons of recording equipment I use in my day job

I got trapped helping a guy change his cam sensor on his altima at the Lowe's parking lot. His wife was yelling at him the entire time that she's going to be late for work.

The intake runner was too close to the head where the cam sensor went so there was only about 3/4" of clearance to fit your hand, wrench, and bolt. He dropped it at least 11 times and I even went into the shop to buy him a magnet so we could fish it out.

Eventually I decided the o-rings would be good enough to hold it in until he got home. Fucking idiot shouldn't have tried to do it in the lot

So that Isuzu diesel I tried to buy..... Siezed after starting once so I didn't buy it lol. Ended up with a 2.3 1993 Isuzu 4ZD1 engine that I am getting swaped into an S10*. Last carburated (car) engine in the USA to be sold, at least I get to suffer with that. 26 MPG up from 21 though.
it’s a 2019 article god damn it, but Mitsubishi has been talking recently about wanting to enter the US truck market again, but they don’t have any US factories which will be difficult since the chicken tax still exists.
If they build it with a tiny diesel (4N1 engine) and a regular cab like the S10s (not as large) with a long bed under 30k I'm sold.

Dumbest thing I ever saw was a man suddenly deciding to change his Allison 1000 filter for some reason in a church lot on an incline without blocking. How it didn't roll off and kill him or scald him is a wonder in my mind.
So far my only theory is either retard rednecking or meth is one helluva a drug.
Edits: Brain dead and can't think straight.

*99% sure the transmission should bolt up to the bellhousing, but if not I'll just find an Isuzu to put that engine in.

Supra mk4 turbo brakes installed on the sexus. Did SS lines as well and fresh DOT4. Really nice, and looks good. Trans is misbehaving, trans flush helped a bit but I really need to be honest with myself drop in the TH350 (have kit for install) or send to level10 and have it built. I'd have an extra gear more MPG.. but that's a lot more money and not as cool. Right now it's also going to be our long trip/highway car so... I'm really not thrilled about idea of a non OD trans on a daily. It also might just be the TC I need to trouble shoot, if so I'll have it worked and buy myself time.

Next step sways and do inside pimped. I know NOTHING about car stereos etc so a lot of research. Don't want to go crazy just a decent head unit, add some USB ports and replace speakers. I already did heated seats.

Just bought new KYB shocks, struts, and coilovers for fleet. I have a sinking feeling the winter potholes are never getting filled

Also I’m thinking about getting an OBS Blazer/2 door Tahoe. They’re somewhat hard to find plus more expensive than a regular 4door Tahoe. I’ve heard theirs a lot of decently priced ones in Mexico. But the problem is they’re in Mexico.
