Canadian media spends more time talking about Trump's bowel movements than they do the actual goings-on of the govt. Gives them the perfect cover to ram through some truly Orwellian shit.

You do not hate the TDS-addled enough.
Honestly whenever I watch CBC news, you would guess that they are meant to be a canadian news channel, considering how much they talk about ANYTHING other than canadian news.

So much of Canadian news they can't even spin as good, and the laws still somehow restricts their ability to tell bald faced lies so they just omit everything inconvenient to them.

Actually, the trudeau government repealed that in 2019, so they can lie to your face if they want to.

but to this point, the leaked Military report is a classic example what you're talking about.
Here is juno news' coverage of it

and here is the CBC's coverage of it

yeah, the CBC tried to sugarcoat it heavily. Basically, the Canadian government brought in many non-citizens to the Armed forces, to which many of then couldn't read, write, and/or speak english or french. They engaged in tribalistic infighting, showed no respect to the women even from the superior officers. and these are people they are trying to train as officers.

Canada literally tried to DEI hire the military and its not working out very well.

https://youtube.com/watch?v=_NTUInq_zEsDo you have concerns about unlawful search and seizure because you criticize the government? You might just be a tinfoil hat wearing conspiracy theorist in the eyes of the elites, who are well known to debank and imprison people they don't like

Remember Canada, you voted for this because Trump made a decades old joke.
If it wasn't disgusting it would almost be funny that they can say this with a straight face after labelling people terorists for honking their horn and freezing back accounts trying to destroy random people's lives (while black rapists get no time because "it's hard adapting to a university without many other blacks in it" etc.

They were even forced to admit once that they absolutely could arrest you for nondescript "mean words' on the internet but somehow it's baseless fearmongering (completely different from embracing for Trump to invade!!). They literally said they had "hate speech experts" on the ground at a jewish rally reading signs to see who should be arrested, but they totally won't go after you for Facebook post. Like they've been doing left and right in the UK...oh but that's also different....somehow

In weirdly coincidental news the music industry also managed to get the country's first site-blocking order forcing all ISPs to universally ban access to the named sites https://www.musicbusinessworldwide....orms-a-first-for-the-countrys-music-industry/

Totally doesn't open the gate to evil right wing terrorist generating sites to be blocked

I’d love to show both those videos to my parents back to back in the hopes it would click but I really doubt it ever would. And it would completely ruin Father’s Day.

Imagine a country which perfectly combines:

English surveillance
French arrogance
Scottish inferiority complex
Irish victimhood
German humourlessness
Chinese obsequiousness
Indian honesty

Truly a chip off the old block of its primary population groups. I just blackpill every day about the absolute state of the people here.
Truly a post-national state!

If nothing else, I can appreciate how they're not even pretending to try to hide it. Like, there's 0 subtlety here, they're being shockingly upfront about it.

Look the bar is low, let me laugh while I can. I may be optimistic enough to believe they won't go after anyone not blatantly fedposting under their real name, but I'm almost expecting an impromptu Leaf Kiwi Meetup at the Gulag...

Why should they hide it. Canadians have shown they will accept anything as long as it coached in the right words.

There was a time I would have been angry and urged people to do something but I no longer care. Canadians are going to get exactly what they voted for and they deserve it.

Elbows Up bitches

I can't really blame CBC for not reporting Canadian news considering Canadian news is bleak as fuck these days.

I’m just watching the clock. If I had money to wager I’d put it on things visibly falling apart in a year or so, in a way that nobody could deny is very bad. It could be Albertans voting to start packing up to leave in October, it could be Mexico and the USA giving Canada a really bad trade agreement in a couple months. It could be a chain reaction from fallout with the condo bailout in BC or all the nasty new laws they passed. Any one of those things have the potential to turn into something nasty that starts knocking down dominoes.

I do feel like we’re in the period of time where something big can break at anytime and cause disaster. And even all the powers were used to hold that off I consider it impossible to keep everything together for another three years.

There’s exactly one thing I like about CBC - that time they ran of Twitter crying because Elon tagged them as Government Funded Media.

Which was only made funny when they insisted that they received less than 70% of their funding from the Government, so Elon changed their tag to 69% Government Funded Media. Man may be a sped, but for that low effort of a shitpost to fuck with the CBC that badly I can respect him.

It's incidents like this that have me convinced journalists cry themselves to sleep every night.

Yup. I'm just sad that I have to face the same consequences as all of my "fellow" Canadians in large part, but at least when everything is 3rd world nigger tier I can say I was right! Lmao.
