I mostly like choral Christmas music in the form of traditional hymns, and have a few classic pop and jazz favorites. The rest is either obnoxious or gets obnoxious quickly.

I think Christmas music is doomed to be a little cheesy and lame, it's very dated.

If I get in the mood for the music though, I listen to this album.

Traditional hymns are usually the best and have the most staying power- they're the ones written with genuine appreciation for what the holiday is supposed to be about. 30's-50's jazz/crooner standards are decent. Since then the good ones are few and far between for me.

Most Christmas songs are just rehashes or generic pop fluff with the addition of a Christmas theme.

Going to third on the hymns. Same with the 30's-50's classics. I have a sweet spot for the songs from Rankin/Bass movies, but they're hardly worth writing home about.
I ended up hearing this one while being dragged through Bath and Bodyworks yesterday and never wished I had earbuds in public more.
