Can someone be a lolcow while also being financially successful or successful in their chosen field?
I was thinking of DreamcastGuy on Youtube who is successful in terms of views and money but he doesn't have a regular normal job and has an interesting appearance and voice. I think the only criteria of a lolcow is that they have stuff about them that can be made fun of and that they can be provoked for content and laughs, not that their life is a failure or that they are poor.

I don´t know if the criteria for someone to be considered a "lolcow" have changed over the years but many of the people that have threads in here are very succesful at grifting. Heck, people have been including celebrities like Tara Stron,, Kanye West or Maddona as lolcows.

Not even the office of President of the United States makes one immune from lolcowdom anymore.

Vince Mcmahon was sorta, until the BBC posing and his wrestler dildo collection leaked

In the olden days you just had the classic standbys like ChrisChan and DSP. Nowadays it seems like everybody with a substantial internet presence has their own thread. So I guess since everybody is either an lolcow or waiting to be exposed as one then yes. You can be successful lolcow since all successful people are lolcows since everyone is a lolcow.

How about Tony Khan? He's an adderall-and-Whiteclaw-fueled nepo-baby who started his own wrestling company (and bought another one, all the while serving a high-ranking position in his dad's American and European football teams). It's been almost 5 years and the company has become the shitshow all the veterans said it would be. The company will be around as long as Daddy wants to keep Tony away from the successful businesses. Meanwhile Tony continues to be a public spectacle.

I mean, a lolcow ro me is someone who makes a fool of themselves online which makes people laugh, and there's plenty of people who fails upwards just take a look around ceos!

So I think it's possible but they won't be very popular as people just like seeing bad people getting what they deserve which is why Cryrax has a lot of people watching him cuase while he's super repetitive at the end of the day the screaming pedo is still hardly trying to scrap the bottom of the barrel dispite being stuck down there

He did not put himself out there but Ricky found him funny and showed it off in controlled manner. And no one really never disliked or hate followed him. And actually I think he has kept his private life out of public quite well. He did not keep doing stupid shit without learning... Many new monkey facts along the way.
And Ricky clearly wanted to make him successful producing shows for him.

He is sort of lolcow but not a lolcow. Head like a fucking orange though.
