I could even accept and forgive a charming moron. Hell, I would even accidentally fall for a charming con-artist.
But...
Snort, belch, fingersniff, beard scratch, hand in face all over the place, masturbation during stream break, looks bored and knackered, insults insults insults, notorious liar, obvious liar, T-Pose and armpits, looks at ceiling and walls while talking, attacks literally everyone, ego through the roof, fat alcoholic face, toxic gin nights, out of touch with current generation and technology, awful greasy hair, no sense for humor, awful "singing", awful voiceover, hates social interaction, daunting money talk, odious laughs, uncreative and uninspired, throat clear, bored, angry, salty, lazy, greedy, never admits mistakes, cheating, game rushing, non-invested, [former] video spammer, can't give compliments, can't be sincerely thankful, won't edit, bad at reaching conclusions, unfeeling and heartless, apparently sadistic, unpleasant voice, shower videos (combined with fat and hairy) ...

... yeah maybe not the most charming person you could accidentally fall for.
You have to be a kinda equally disgusting person to not notice these flaws.

In all honesty, even if he did come out and profess himself to be a changed person, I would find it incredibly hard to believe any attempts at sincerity from Dave. I think the most DSPAHSITIVE I could ever be about him in a scenario like that would basically result in me believing he's engaging in a strategic LARP as a normal person for good will points. Maybe he'd work on cursing less, suppressing his snorts, forgiving Tervin, not letting a mention of Panda trigger the shit out of him, trying not to call everyone "kids", and accepting the meme he really is, but deep down inside the salt would build, his rage eventually consuming him and climaxing in the most toxic victim-hood rant of all time.

I would like this actually, the resulting snort and screaming "bullshit!" of his true self busting through the facade would probably register on the Richter scale. This would be followed by the news that his tax situation has worsened and Kat left him because she liked him better when he shit talked pre-teens in VR games.
