Calls are surfacing for Bill Maher to be replaced by Jon Stewart on Real Time according to new viral tweets.

Maher has hosted HBO’s Real Time for over 19 years, with the show continuing to attract millions to it’s weekly variety format of lively debate and monologue pieces. Maher however, is in no doubt as to his ability to infuriate even his most loyal viewers. The host has faced backlash in recent years for supposedly changing his political image, with many claiming he now champions typical right-wing talking points.

Just last night, Maher aired a new addition of ‘New Rule’, a prominent segment in which the host speaks passionately on a pressing issue and often offering a solution. The host’s latest piece argued against a growing debate in Hollywood over actors playing roles which do not correlate with their nationality, sexuality or race, suggesting it takes away from inclusive representation in the industry.

Maher was furiously dumfounded by the premise last night, telling viewers: “This is regression. And it is frankly typical of so much wokeness that doesn’t build on liberalism. It undoes it.”

A number of users on Twitter are now actively calling for HBO to replace Maher will Jon Stewart.

One tweet suggested: “HBO are you listening? Replace Bill Maher with Jon Stewart! Viewership would increase 10,000 fold!”

Another agreed, “Stopped watching Bill Maher a while ago. Wish HBO would empty the bank and give that slot to someone real like Jon Stewart.”

Despite this, it seems the social platform was largely divided on the viral issue. A tweet in response to the trend, read: “Change the channel if u don’t like Bill. I like him, don’t always agree with him, but I appreciate the dialogue.”

It’s true, despite growing backlash Maher may receive, the host still brings in a consistent viewer base to his show with at least a good number finding common ground on a number of contemporary political issues.

The HBO host is contracted to air at least two more seasons of Real Time on the HBO network.

Wow, all this because Bill Maher said that giving experimental drugs to kids and cutting their dicks and tits off is a really bad idea. Keep seething trannies.

Nah . Stewart’s a comedian and the format of Maher would kill his ingenuity. IMO.
Stewart stopped being a comedian during the last seasons of The Daily Show. Now he is a non-stop preach machine.

It is kind of funny Maher and Stewart were both stand up guys that ended up getting shows. Stewart kind of went straight from standup to his own show probably because he uh...is...uh...more visually appealing.

I knew immediately after the recent segment about cutting kids' dicks off and shooting them up with hormones that the soyfaggot twitter cancel mob was going to come for Maher. I'm not surprised in the least by this turn of events because twitter, much like Reddit, is filled with upper middle class RevCom larpers, troons, and general faggot-enablers.

I think the real problem we're facing as a society (after uppity niggers of course) is that soy drenched journos think that Joe Average cares about what their retarded, blue haired, pansexual allies on Twitter have to say about anything. Journos need to stop covering Twitter in general because it's an echo chamber of fag-enabling liberalism. If you talk to the average person outside of New York and Portland, none of them even have Twitter. Most normal people don't live on social media if they actually use it at all. Normally the social media usage of Joe Average is to keep in touch with family and friends. They use Facebook for that if they use anything.

He started a show on AppleTV sometime last year called The Problem with Jon Stewart. I haven't watched any of the episodes, but the only thing notable that I recall about him from recent memory was some horrible shit-take (I don't know if it was from one of these show episodes or something else) where he was saying that the goblins from Harry Potter were antisemitic Jewish caricatures. Even the wokies that like to dogpile on JK Rowling for wanting to keep penises out of women's spaces thought that was too much nonsense to swallow, so he ended up walking it back.
That might have been on a podcast. What I know of his show is that he interviewed Cory Booker, and Booker was bitching that his bill trying to give white small farmers' property to black people was shot down because it was blatantly unconstitutional. Stewart attributed resistance to Booker's race war ploy to "white resentment". He was so vindictive about it, even Crazy Eyes Booker looked a little uncomfortable.

Stewart is so pozzed, he's unrecognizable. If 9/11 happened today, he'd be shitting on white first responders, not trying to get them health care.

Mediocre comedians' best move is to get a talk show. They can be funny enough to keep an interview interesting even if the guest is a dud, but not so funny they overshadow the guest.

Yeah didn't Jon Stewarts show on Apple TV crater in the ratings? Maybe Stewart should take a break from politics and go back to hanging out with Elmo in Grouchland or smoking dope with Adam Sandler and Dave Chappelle.

Like him or not Bill Maher gets eyes on HBO so they are not about to dump him for a has-been. In an era where the new CEO is shelving 100 million dollar superhero movies because they suck, HBO is not going to lose a guy who does bring viewers to the channel. Even if they wanted to fire Maher he would just sue their ass for breach of contract and happily take his show to another channel. If anything replacing Bill with John would only make him richer.
jon is practically invisible, his show failed and he's roughly on par with stav from cumtown in terms of fame. redditors love him but replacing one old jew with another seems odd to do from a company perspective, jon also embarrassed the fuck out of HBO with his contract from years ago, he was supposed to be doing some show for HBO way back in 2016, and couldn't get anything to work.

saw that clip too booker despite his color was raised upper class enough that his blackness is as big a deal as being irish/italian/polish/russian/german would be. outside of light hearted jokes and plenty of "first" awards whiteness is his normal sotospeak. so of course a kike revealing his powerlevel was insane to him.

Jon's had way too many of those fuck ups to be allowed to be a major player anymore, its why he's stuck doing stuff like promoting bills that help his family make money. he went from going to the white house every month for marching orders to being David Hogg's sidekick.

its also not the 2000s anymore, the right wing has gotten so fucking huge online that jon's fuckups spread like wildfire, even reddit disowns him for his COVID or free speech takes. when i said Jon was just David Hogg's sidekick i'm being accurate. he went from $50 million a year to being another blue checkmark.

"I don't want to be entertained, I want to be validated by corporations!"

I think he got more heat over this one.

I remember like, fifty thousand fat women being really upset about it on Twitter.

1. Stewart WAS under contract for a while at HBO but for original scripted programming and all of his pitches save one (a Fox News station run by Furries) was rejected and the Furry Fox New Show got rejected after Stewart made multiple pilots that kept get rejected. He only did the Apple show because he was running out of money, as HBO let his deal with them lapse firs chance they could as it became too fucking expensive to just pay Stewart to do nothing simply to keep another network from grabbing him and making a TDS rip-off like Apple ultimately did.

2. Maher and Oliver are the only real "year round" shows that HBO has and even then not really "year round" in that both take lengthy hiatuses (end of November through February plus the entire month of July off AND weeks off for every major holiday). But yeah, they are basically the only thing that keeps people from pulling a Netflix and only subbing when a certain show airs. Which has been a major problem HBO has been dealing with for decades, ever since the late 90s as people would subscribe for the months Sopranos or Sex and the City or Game of Thrones aired and then cancel after the season ends.

Maher basically created the template that Stewart followed (both were failed actors who fell into the role of comedian news anchor guy, though Maher was more panel host guy that built his show from scratch twice-over while Stewart didn't make shit and simply inherited Craig Kilborn's show/format).

I've mentioned that Stewart's fall from grace has had some interesting effect on his two chief acolytes. John Oliver (who wouldn't have a career if not for Stewart thinking he was a classy Brit and not a failed comedian who got blackballed from the panel show circuit in the UK) keeps attacking Tucker Carlson with a fury that seems to imply that Stewart is livid that Carlson had a big comeback while his career has collapsed and Oliver wanting to be Stewart's attack dog against Tucker since John can't publicly go after Tucker without looking bitter and vile while Colbert (who was John's closest friend on TDS and was a failed actor before John got him work on TDS) seems to gleefully enjoy fucking with John, making him be his sidekick after years of their power dynamics being the reverse and making John say and do shit like "You don't own America white boy!" spiel in 2016 that did serious damage to John's reputation and legacy on Colbert's show.

The movie, maybe, the books, lolno.

The description of goblins in the book is very brief. "Swarthy and clever with long fingers," as I recall.

Any anti-Semitic inference is due to whoever designed them for the films.

If im being honest, I’ve always found The Jew funnier than The Jew. While The Jew’s show was always funny while also being informative, I typically felt The Jew’s show was too reactionary at the expense of humor. If The Jew was willing to put in the work, I’m sure he’d outclass The Jew every time.

If you need a clip so you know to avoid it here's a segment where they talk Systemic Racism.
The golden moment is when the fat white woman at the 10 minute mark talks about how she doesn't have white men for her event Race2Dinner because white men haven't done enough to stop racism (ever heard of John Brown?) The real reason obviously is because the men will eat too much of her food.

Also note the man she's dismissing is Andrew Sullivan. A man who falls politically on the left specrtrum.

I see America's most infamous atheist is assigned the default Jewish skin upon Thunderdome discovery.

It's funny when his usually somewhat sycophantic crowd balks at applauding when he says something unexpected. I think he's fully aware that there are going to be a contingent of people who are hardwired into current year groupthink and is being intentionally goading about it as a result.

Just because they liked Jon Stewart a decade ago doesn't mean they'll like him now

I never really liked the guy but i agree with this 100%.

They want him to replace someone who was on "their side" who didn't read off the Agreed List of Correct Opinions and Stewart is just as likely to do the same thing eventually.

He's a screaming lefty but not the kind of retarded screaming lefty that these people would require him to be.

This is what it sounds like when the doves kike.

Deranged ideologues screeching on social media... never gets old... or sane.

If ever there was a more clear image of the shift in political norms, I have not seen it. Even 10 year old fundamental left-wing and liberal positions are now "right-wing" talking points. This is the true face of the republicans "shift" further right as well... OC as seen by modern progressives while forcefully dragging the middle with them as they go off the left end.
