Honestly this annoys the eff out of me too, I miss when his videos had idiosyncratic titles, like how his Hercules video was called "Disney's HercuLAY!" or Parappa the Rapper was called Pappy Rappy.... the new titles are just boring.

I think the [old] might be because he's one of those creators who always dislikes his own output and doesn't want them to be seen as representative, but like.... I think the bridge has sailed on that, Caddy my lad.

I think the issue is he was, I guess, afraid of becoming another "Hey, Im video game reviewer youtuber number whatever the fuck", since as its core his old videos were reviews, just on a more elaborate take. I can see how that would make someone go "Well shit, I aint no different from any of these other guys", so I can see how he decided to switch his format and basically be "Hey, heres a topic I wanna talk about and its not gonna be a review, just my stream of thoughts"

I still like Caddys videos, but having to wait months for a single topic as opposed to shorter, often zanier content is a noticeable loss.

We're never getting anything on the level of those nursery rhyme videos again.
