Bud Light distributor blasts Anheuser-Busch over Dylan Mulvaney: ‘We do not support this’

An Anheuser-Busch wholesale beer distributor based in Alabama has taken to the radio airwaves to slam Bud Light’s parent company over its marketing partnership with Dylan Mulvaney.

Steve Tatum, general manager of Montgomery-based Bama Budweiser, paid for a radio commercial in hopes of reassuring alienated consumers that he wasn’t on board with Bud Light’s social media campaign partnership with Mulvaney, the controversial transgender influencer.

Bud Light, which has been subjected to harsh blowback, is trying to win back hearts and minds.

The brand is offering generous rebates for Memorial Day that in some cases amount to free beer.

“We too at Bama Budweiser are upset about it and have made our feelings known to the top leadership at Anheuser-Busch,” Tatum said.

His comments were reported by AL.com.

“The voice of the consumer has been heard, and Anheuser-Busch has taken action.”

Tatum added: “We at Bama Budweiser, an independent wholesaler, employ around 100 people who live here, work here, and our children go to school here.”

“We do not, and as I said before, did not support this issue involving Dylan Mulvaney.”

Tatum referred to Bud Light’s decision to place two marketing executives on leave.

He also referred to the custom can of Bud Light bearing Mulvaney’s likeness.

An image of the commemorative can, which was made to mark the anniversary of her transition from a man to a woman, was posted to Mulvaney’s social media account, which numbers millions of followers.

“There was one single can made,” Tatum said in the ad.

“It was not for sale and wasn’t properly approved. As a result, the Bud Light brand has new leadership.”

Tatum continued: “Dylan Mulvaney is not under contract with Bud Light.”

“The videos you may have seen are Mulvaney’s own social media posts that went viral and many web-based news outlets have distorted the story,” he said in the ad.

“You deserve to know the truth, and life is too short to let a couple of individuals decide what you can eat or drink or spend your hard-earned money on.”

“And remember, making friends is our business, not enemies.”

Steep drops in sales of Bud Light continued to worsen for the sixth consecutive week, plunging by nearly 25% since the ill-fated promotion with Mulvaney, the latest industry data shows.

I do feel bad for the average guys who might lose their job over this, but unfortunately sacrifices have to be made if we want anything to get better.

I really hope it only gets worse for AB and BL. It probably won't and they'll just bounce back to doing stupid retarded shit again shortly, but I only hope the flames just burn brighter and hotter for them for a lot longer.

“We do not, and as I said before, did not support this issue involving Dylan Mulvaney.”
You could've said "we do not support transgenderism."
“The videos you may have seen are Mulvaney’s own social media posts that went viral and many web-based news outlets have distorted the story,” he said in the ad.
But he was still hired as an influencer to promote the brand. Nice way to avoid using pronouns, though.
“You deserve to know the truth, and life is too short to let a couple of individuals decide what you can eat or drink or spend your hard-earned money on.”
And this attempt at damage control was thought up by individuals that want you to spend your hard-earned money on their cheap swill.
“And remember, making friends is our business, not enemies.”
Your business choices made regular customers into enemies, friend.

Can't help but notice it's taken you several weeks to speak up, my dude. Had to be completely certain that there wasn't any risk to yourself before putting your voice out there, I take it?

Hilarious that it took this specific overcompensating faggot for a segment of American society to finally go full anti-tranny.
They did way worse things than putting this dying theater kid on a beer can, but I'm glad something woke suburban America up to realize the cultural rot LGBT activism turned into.

You could've said "we do not support transgenderism."
Proving that while they claim to not support it they will not take a stand against the root issue and in my book that means keep the pressure up.

Sorry about your employees. Guess you should grow a spine and directly say, "We do not support the chemical dependence and bodily mutilation that Mulvaney represents and that a former Bud Light exec seemed to think was perfectly acceptable. We also do not believe it was wise to make a brand ambassador out of someone who has a largely underage audience."

What was issued was a limp dicked half beg. Get on your knees and tell me you love me ya filthy animal.

I mean I still would not drink Bud Light but outside of like two concerts I never have so...whatever enjoy the girl dick!

As much as I can understand that many innocent people in the supply chain will be hurt, I want blood.

Sometimes, innocent people suffer when an example needs to be made. And it must be made.

No matter how many politicians, brands, social medias, billionaires, or actors want to repeat on TV that it's OK. Everybody normal knows this is not. This travesty needs to stop and trannies should go back to existing instead. It's both safer for them and normal people.

Worse, yes. But nowhere near as visible.

“You deserve to know the truth, and life is too short to let a couple of individuals decide what you can eat or drink or spend your hard-earned money on.”
So I hope people will not let you, Mr. Steve Tatum, to change their minds. I suggest Mr. Tatum to sue Anheuser-Busch, and / or find another brand to distribute. Sorry about the 100 or so workers; I hope they'd find better employment. No one sane is going to buy Bud Lite.

“We do not, and as I said before, did not support this issue involving Dylan Mulvaney.”
What a nothingburger of a statement.

"We do not support this issue" doesn't mean anything. What do you not support? Trannism? The fact that its even an issue to begin with? The fact hat people are taking issue with it? What?

Its such a corporate statement.

As much as I can understand that many innocent people in the supply chain will be hurt, I want blood.

The people who thought it was a good idea to give Mulvaney a custom beer can also think it is appropriate to "punch Nazis," meaning that they think anyone who doesn't suck globohomo cock needs to be beaten to death.

I want these fuckers crucified.

This pride month is gonna be spicy. I'm predicting at least two more major brands will crucify themselves on the pedestal of trannies with whatever stupid tone-deaf shit they've got cooked up.

Jesus fucking Christ how hard is it to say "we are sorry we didn't think this idea through. We will do better and the person responsible will be fired ASAP"?
Instead we get a "only one can was made" "It wasn't our idea it was someone else's" did they all go through the DSP school of business management?
Also: AB is planning to support Pride parades. Well what can go wrong right?

It's not that it's hard to figure out the right choice based on demand, rather they can't afford to offend the US Social Credit score known as ESG which all of the major ETFs feed into and control trillions of dollars of money that can easily be pulled out. They already took a hit to their score that was rather big just by not tripling down on the faggot troon.

Had it not been for the funds and government influence, they'd probably have come out and stated TTD by now.
