Don't expect much people to try and troll Chris this time around, since he fits right in at BronyCon.
I think some people actually had problems trying to find Chris. That says something about the attendance.
Chris actually was kinda hard to find amongst the 5000 or so people at BronyCon, and most of the time was just wandering around alone and didn't seem to be bothering anyone.

I don't know what happened in the autograph room since I didn't pay to get in. They were charging $20 for an autograph or photo. I wonder how much Chris spent on this.

A few people did subtly make fun of Chris though. The Battle Gem Ponies guy was giving a presentation and talking about how some game developers got in legal trouble for making characters too similar to copyrighted characters. Then he throws in a picture of Sonichu and says "maybe that's okay". Chris wasn't there to see it though. Also one of the vendors was doing an 'ask the doctor' type of thing. "Tell me about your OC" $5 for 5 minutes. Then below that he wrote, "$1 surcharge for Sonic OCs".

Chris wrote on twitter that he let a guy wash his car, gave him two dollars, and told him he just helped a celebrity.

How many fans does Chris think he has?

LOL, Chris gives money to beggars. In other news, Chris is a dumbass.

There were a lot of homeless people and beggars around. Some of them would approach cars and wash the windshield and then ask for money. I also saw many sleeping on the sidewalks around the convention center.

I don't know if it's just that there are a lot of beggars in Baltimore, or that the cops are reluctant to do anything about it. Baltimore police got a lot of shit over Freddie Gray, and may be reluctant to hassle the beggars for fear of getting complaints.

How big are the chances, that Chris will be thrown out because they won't let him use the gender neutral toilet?
More likely that he will try and use the womens restroom if anything.
There were several gender-neutral restrooms. They put 'gender neutral' signs over the original signs. I saw many transgender people at BronyCon, and Chris was not unusual in this regard.

I'm more or less convinced of this. BronyCon staff is long inured to dealing with incredibly autistic behavior, and are mostly autists themselves, so they have some understanding of what works.

They've obviously learned how to deal with exceptional individuals and handle this pretty well.

There were many people working 'security' but just wearing BronyCon staff shirts. They weren't dressed like jerkops, but had a visible presence throughout the con. At a few of the bigger events there were bouncers wearing uniforms from a private security company, who were there to check that everyone entering had a badge.

I never saw anyone get kicked out. They were clearly prepared to do so if necessary, but just having 'official' people with a visible presence tends to keep things under control.

They also had a designated area for families with children, and kids-only events there, so parents had the option to keep their kids away from people like Chris.

That's true, I forget that they somehow have to stretch a whole 3 day con around a single mediocre cartoon. Gotta pad that shit out.
Most of the interesting stuff was scheduled the first or second day, and I noticed that attendance seemed to drop off towards the end.

Attendance has been declining for the past couple years. They initially blamed it on being too early when it moved to Jul(a)y, but changing it back to August did not help.

The weather was shitty, it was hot and humid then raining, but I doubt that moving the date by a few weeks would make much difference. I suspect it's more that the popularity of MLP has run its course.

They can't afford it, though I don't recall all of the details. They are fine in terms of relevancy and attendance.

The only justification is that the guy did something, I'm not saying that means Chris needs to pay, but it makes more sense. This happened while I was riding with Chris after food, so maybe she was just having fun advertising her comics to the guy and all. I'm hoping Chris doesn't do that for anyone who does nothing.

See, this is why I block that word. Chris gets money for selling stuff. He goes to the convention. He has a good time. Why are you insulting them and calling them failtrolls? Do you understand what the word means or are you just blathering? How does buying stuff from someone make them a failtroll?

I really, really hate this board. I might close it any day because I fucking hate the people that come here. I hate your posts. I don't understand them. You've bent and twisted language itself to mean absolutely nothing.
Not gonna lie, you probably should end it. I highly doubt Chris Chan has much valid "content" left in him anyway, after all the awful shit he's been through... The vast majority of it is far more depressing than funny.

You can't really make that call. Yes he has been going through some bad shit, but he's still Our Pet Lolcow.

Eventually the stormy waters calm down, Chris moves some of his more autistic practices like the attraction sign and the seaweed hair into the past where they belong (hopefully this Neptunia shit soon) and will find some new strange thing to attract his attention or cause him to rage in the tard classic manner we all love.

I admit I don't follow CWC nearly as much as when I first joined the farms, but I only joined the farms BECAUSE of CWC, if you dig it. The Chris-Chan forum is the bedrock upon which the Farms were built. I sympathize with Null because of the amount of shitposting that goes on here, much of it more autistic then anything OPL comes up with, but killing this forum would be killing some of the very soul of the Kiwi Farms.

No, I can't (and wouldn't even presume to) make that call... But the question was asked, and I gave my "true and honest" answer.. Chris hasn't truly been "funny" in ages, and I honestly don't see that changing, except among the weens... TBH, he's been more depressing than anything lately for me at least... (and I am assuming also for other people who have even a shred of empathy)

I agree it's been pretty damn depressing in the short term, this has been a sad year for 'ments in the CWC forums.

I am just hopeful that with a little help keeping the roaches off his tugboat and Blorb's decline into true Snorlax form thus giving OPL a bit more freedom, Teh Funnay may return. To kill it now would be very premature.

You deserve the :optimism: I gave you. I really doubt it though... Sadly

Imagine being a late night convenience store cashier and seeing this rotund adult dressed like a space pony princess pacing feverishly around a vehicle while singing in a manic falsetto out in your parking lot.:story:

EDIT: Oops, I didn't notice that Chris's car troubles got split off into another thread.

Última edición:
Now that the convention's over and I'm able to catch up, I'm surprised that people aren't losing their minds over this quote (in bold red) from Chris' video:
transcript of video dijo:
Right now I'm waiting in line to get Tabitha St. Germaine's autograph, so nobody interrupt me there.

And my feet gave out, so I'm standing on my knees. Huh.

I did get a few good celeb-- few good pictures here and there of my fan-- meet-and-greets with my fans.

And also, I enjoyed Obab Scribbler's "Analyzing YouTube" panel. And not only did I get to meet her, she knew-- she recognized me and she gave me a hug off the bat, and that was good. I also got to meet her husband, Reverb Ronnie. That was awesome.

So, anyway, that's my story right now. Check in again later!
Chris is waiting in line, and there are people standing around in the background behind him. He recognizes that his legs are getting wobbly, and-- to his credit-- he decides to do something about it because (presumably) he understands it would cause a scene if he tried to remain standing and then collapsed.

But Chris has this fascinating natural ability-- he takes a run-of-the-mill problem, makes an awkward choice about how to solve it, and ends up in a state weirder than where he started.

He kneels down, and then, in public, (presumably) scuttles along on his knees for some distance, "Dorf on Golf"-style.

It's the odd things like this that make me love following CWC.

He spent a weekend at an event where he didn't stick out even though he was wearing a unicorn horn and a tiara and a set of pink wings, and where if he'd blathered about the CPU goddesses and the insivible OCs protecting him, it might not have drawn any attention.

But no.

When Chris gets "the jitters" before seeing a voice actress he likes, he doesn't sit down somewhere until the nerves settle. He folds up his legs, shuffles along at half height, and explains that he's merely walking with his knees.

Chris is fascinating. Even at an event like BronyCon where he's liable to blend in, he finds a way to stand out.
