Captain's log: Kiwifarms has not yet seemed to sense my sarcasm. I will continue my research.

HURR DURR I WAS ONLY PRETENDING TO BE EXCEPTIONAL AND UR JUST MAD AND CAN'T UNDERSTAND SARCASM.

Maybe it's a bit of a :powerlevel: but this shit makes me irrationally angry. It's an old tired out joke and just bad sportsmanship.

Counterpoint : Phil got subsidised housing.
True. But doesn't he live in squalor with an abusive maniac? If that's where we're setting the bar, then yeah, Chris could probably achieve that.

I'm not trying to be negative, I'm just saying he's got a lot stacked against him. More than the average "client".

Oh absolutely more than the average client, but I don't think more than the average section 8 person. Most of them, at least in my neck of the woods, are around his function level. A face to face interview will, yeah, earn him some stares, but no more so than the guy who needs an apartment low to the ground so he can avoid the mind rays from airplanes.

okay, he did it. he survived bronycon and made a positive tweet to cap it off at the end. this inspires confidence.

Jesus Christ those comments.

Then we activate my Final Solution.

Gas the Sonichus

Make sure your shots are up to date.

I'd love a peek at the fabled autism papers. All the incidents that lil Chris did to get him kicked out of school and the cub scouts.

Are the autism papers even still intact after the fire? I know a shitload of paper based artifacts of Chris survived the fire and subsequent fire hose dousing, but Chris himself did not really care about those papers.

Cleaning out Casa Chandler would lead to the mother of all ebay sales. Chris could probably be persuaded to get onboard if he thought there was money in it.

He's slowly been hocking bob's old shit from time to time.

Bronycon 2019 being the last one.... why? Isn't that shit event huge revenue for the hotel/venue/hosts of the event? I can't imagine the brony community is dying out....
I honestly wouldn't be surprised if they use "Bronycon 2019 is the last one" so that a shit ton of bronies pull together to go, double the usual revenue, and then they say something to the effect of, "Since the community has proven this is what it wants, Bronycon 2020 is in the works!!" and just hold Bronycon over bronies' heads until the end of times.

We've seen bronies spend money up the butt for things like their own OC/recolor fanart and other items. There are artists out there that make some serious bank off of bronies. I just don't see why they'd just stop them...unless they're just sick of hosting them. In that case, someone else will probably pick it up.

Because I suspect the people running the show don't want to turn into a more catch-all mlp con - the current generation is ending after the next season, with the new series 'G5' set to begin in 2020.

I might just be remembering CWCki fake news, but I thought they were kept in a filing cabinet by his parents with other "important" documents. If that's the case they've got a good chance of having made it.

In another lifetime I worked for a supported accommodation provider. We had tenants who ripped up the floorboards to use them as fuel for the fireplace because their electricity had been cut off. We had tenants go on "holiday" leaving a fridge full of food to go rotten and get shitty when they returned 6 months later and their house had been let to someone else (of course they never told anyone they were going and never paid rent while away). We had the usual grab bag of tenants with extreme drug and alcohol and/or mental health problems. We had tenants whose houses pretty much needed a hazmat team to come in and clean up every few months. We had tenants who would set fire to their home when they got sick of living there and wanted to be transferred somewhere else (a normal transfer can take years).

Believe me, Chris is doesn't even approach the level of "difficult" social/community housing providers deal with on a regular basis.

Tell us about the worst case scenario.
Oh we'd definitely clean it out regardless. When she dies I am personally going to spelunk through it to find the gun Barb fired at Cole and FINISH THE FIGHT. :null::deagle:

I'll definetly take that as a much more educated opinion on the matter than mine.

Haha slightly off topic, I'm not even sure what section 8 housing looks like. My town, being populated by super liberal Bernie voters, filled with amazingly woke middle class college educated white people with Nantucket sweatshirts, there's TWO things that will bring them out in droves: a dilightful summers farmer market on the town green and to vote DOWN any government housing within village limits. Sure they love civil rights, but at any suggestion of building low income housing and they start turning into Mississippi Burning..

Null stands up from his chair, opens his box and shows MV the contents

MV: H...how much?
Null: 250...thousand
MV: Cordell, cut a check for $250,000

Ominous music, the camera pans and focuses on the contents of the box ; a mildewy, threadbare and stained long sleeved red and blue striped polo.

Section 8 isn't really geared towards the super exceptional, you still have to deal with the landlord yourself, the offices can be as bad as the DMV, and they will slap the shit out of you if you fuck with them in ANY way. I've had my rent jacked 200/month for earning an extra 100/month and not telling them about it 3 months in advance. Point is, Section 8 beats normal rental prices, but either Chris or Null-kun is going to have to be on the ball about it.

There was a very large mortgage on the place when Bob died and it's thought that Barb has since added to that by taking out a second mortgage/HELOC.

No there wasn't. Bob had paid it off and left them with a significant nest egg, which Blarb immediately blew like an idiot on Rob Bell and then put the house back in hock for more hoard.

They're probably going to try to drive away the perverts, though.

I told you that dead Barb pussy is mine!!! MINE I TELL YOU!!!

Tell us about the worst case scenario.
Chris enters his final form....and we don't have a super saiyan to save us.

Worst case scenario is the house is unsalvageable and everything in it is worth nothing. Chris has no fandom support structure anymore because of something he did, so helping him make money is not an option. The mortgage Barb has gotten against the equity of the house has a rate or a value that far exceeds what it is worth. The bank takes the house.

Chris will still earn a lot on SSD-I and it'd really be quite easy to just find an apartment for him nearby. He'd probably end up paying less than he's paying now to Barb to help with the fires she's started, especially if he gets on Section 8.

It's not a dire situation. He will never be homeless. He will never be on the street. There are darker scenarios that involve a criminal record or other problems that bar him from living on his own, but at that point it's out of my hands anyways.

Chris's life will improve when Barb is gone. I think he knows this.
So you're saying, he should go a full Norman Bates on her?

Null gets Chris Monday through Thursday and the mods get him on weekends on a rotating schedule.
I get Barb, okay?!OKAY!?!?!?

Oh we'd definitely clean it out regardless. When she dies I am personally going to spelunk through it to find the gun Barb fired at Cole and FINISH THE FIGHT. :null::deagle:
She probably pawned it off for some beer in the 80's. I know white trash too well. You can borrow one of my many guns to finish that fight if you want.

Do you guys realize Barb will probably live into her 120s just out of spite?
Evil never dies....never.

I certainly hope so. It's sad to see gross adults misusing things made for children.

I think Old Yeller would be more descriptive. Especially men.

The Wiki says there was a deed of trust for $130,000 filed in April 2009 (that's after the time when Chris initially said the house was fully paid off), which would help explain why there is still such a large mortgage on the property now and also why they were able to spend freely immediately after that time.

That Barb blew anything Bob left and then borrowed as much as she still could is not in dispute.

He is a member of a protected class. You cannot discriminate against him. He just needs an advocate to help him if he indeed goes the apartment route.

You cannot refuse to rent to him because he's a tranny or autistic, but you can refuse to rent to him for any non-protected reason you want (i.e. concern that he wouldn't pay rent would be a legally perfect reason to refuse him as a tenant)
