https://news.sky.com/story/row-over-new-greggs-vegan-sausage-rolls-heats-up-11597679 (https://archive.ph/5Ba6o)

A heated row has broken out over a move by Britain's largest bakery chain to launch a vegan sausage roll.

The pastry, which is filled with a meat substitute and encased in 96 pastry layers, is available in 950 Greggs stores across the country.

It was promised after 20,000 people signed a petition calling for the snack to be launched to accommodate plant-based diet eaters.

But the vegan sausage roll's launch has been greeted by a mixed reaction: Some consumers welcomed it, while others voiced their objections.

Cook and food poverty campaigner Jack Monroe declared she was "frantically googling to see what time my nearest opens tomorrow morning because I will be outside".

While TV writer Brydie Lee-Kennedy called herself "very pro the Greggs vegan sausage roll because anything that wrenches veganism back from the 'clean eating' wellness folk is a good thing".

One Twitter user wrote that finding vegan sausage rolls missing from a store in Corby had "ruined my morning".

Another said: "My son is allergic to dairy products which means I can't really go to Greggs when he's with me. Now I can. Thank you vegans."

TV presenter Piers Morgan led the charge of those outraged by the new roll.

"Nobody was waiting for a vegan bloody sausage, you PC-ravaged clowns," he wrote on Twitter.

Mr Morgan later complained at receiving "howling abuse from vegans", adding: "I get it, you're all hangry. I would be too if I only ate plants and gruel."

Another Twitter user said: "I really struggle to believe that 20,000 vegans are that desperate to eat in a Greggs."

"You don't paint a mustach (sic) on the Mona Lisa and you don't mess with the perfect sausage roll," one quipped.

Journalist Nooruddean Choudry suggested Greggs introduce a halal steak bake to "crank the fume levels right up to 11".

The bakery chain told concerned customers that "change is good" and that there would "always be a classic sausage roll".

It comes on the same day McDonald's launched its first vegetarian "Happy Meal", designed for children.

The new dish comes with a "veggie wrap", instead of the usual chicken or beef option.

It should be noted that Piers Morgan and Greggs share the same PR firm, so I'm thinking this is some serious faux outrage and South Park KKK gambiting here.

I shall read the report later, but I suspect I will be a mix of horrified and furious.

Talked to my old boss, they're pretty well connected, from what I gather. Starmer announced the ban without even informing GCHQ, MI6, MI5, MOD, or even business leaders. The parent company of one of my prior workplaces is beyond furious and is pulling out of the UK altogether. They own like 20 UK companies and are selling them off. From what my person said, a shit ton of investment is going out of the country.

Funnily enough, the government cannot get a single data centre built because of the enormous costs post-build.

A lot of parents are abdicating their responsibilities to the schools and the teachers. Which is alarming because many teachers are just propagandists.
Absolutely yes. Ongoing spat with my sister in law at the moment? She's pissed because her kids school isn't teaching them stuff like how to cross the road safely and one of them got bumped by a car recently after shooting out into oncoming traffic. She wasn't seriously injured, but sister in law is bigmad because she thinks schools should be teaching this.

Schools are there to get you through exams. That's it. Raising a competent human being should be the parents responsibility.

I dunno if they should teach you just to get through exams. Because a lot of kids study just to pass an exam and then they never have any general knowledge or anything outside of what's on the exam.

But life skills? Values (including religion and what to think about LGBTBBQ)? These are the domain of the parents

He KEEPS doing this, it came up last time he tried to implement some kind of tech ban or legislation. He did this sort of thing recently with the MoD too. All this does is cause extra damage to the systems involved because no-one has time to prepare or plan around it.

Is he legitimately retarded? It's how a child would think 'If I don't tell anyone that I blocked the toilet, people won't notice when their toes get wet'.

I think he's retarded and autistic in equal measure. Law is his special interest and anything outside of this is no interest to him. It doesn't matter, it's of no consequence to him.

The man has literally no redeeming features at all. Thatcher had her faults but she was fiercely intelligent. Blair was an odious shit but he tapped into the zeitgeist and knew how to charm people and talk to them. But I can't think of anything positive about starmer at all. He's dangerous and worse he's so totally focused on following through on his orders from Davos, literally nothing else matters to him.

I dunno that he's dangerous. He's just a stuffed shirt. He's ironically a lot like Charlie in that respect. When Charlie went over to America and all the press fawned and gushed over him and his speech and I looked over what he talked about, it confirmed to me that the King does not have a single original thought in his head. His job is basically just to be the hype man for his Globalist paymasters. Same with Sir Keir. One wonders why he even wanted to become a politician, because he obviously doesn't care about serving the public, and he's just a charisma vacuum. But then, politics is an easy grift for people who just can't hack it in a real job.

Do they not do those spooky Tim Burton inspired road safety PSAs on the telly anymore?

A shame, I bet a few people during that heat wave wish they saw this one https://youtube.com/watch?v=xZWD2sDRESk
They're no great loss. The parents are probably just salty they'll lose their child benefit money. A parent can't really be said to care that much for the child they chose to have if they don't even bother teaching them basic shit like safety around water.

The thing is he just ends up looking retarded. The American companies are probably going to say no because it damages their infrastructure. They end up creating back doors or adding in features that tank stock prices.

The whole VPN is just really fucking retarded from an opsec standpoint. The issue is that he is announcing that these places are vulnerable, so they get slammed. It is getting to the point where he needs to be uninstalled because of the risks he is creating.

The report didn't contain much we didn't already implicitly know, but reading the actual testimonies of girls as young as 11 and 12 being tortured by these subhumans made my blood boil. Im so mati bros.

With so much shit constantly forced onto us day in day out its almost easy to forget that 250,000 of our children have been allowed to be systematically brutalised for generations.

Also any good will i had to the police before this month have completely vanished. Fuck em all. The death penalty can't come back soon enough.

Do yourself a favour and don't ruin a good day by reading the testimonies.

Spoilered is a pretty harrowing exert of an account from a twelve year old girl:

There were times when Chloe would be missing for up to three days, during which time she was passed between taxis, drugged, abused, and raped. In every case, the perpetrators were Muslims, and primarily Pakistani.

On one occasion, Chloe was abducted by an abuser – who was driving drunk –and taken to a graveyard. He gave Chloe – still twelve years old – whiskey before forcing himself on her and raping her. He withdrew before ejaculation, and forced the empty whiskey bottle into Chloe’s vagina, where it shattered. Chloe admitted herself to A&E, but no questions were asked about how she had sustained such an injury. She was examined, the glass was removed, and she was discharged.

Chloe was questioned by police due to her absence on a number of occasions. Each time, she was asked where she had been, who she had been with, and what she had been doing. She replied that she had been having sex with adult males in cars. Rather than opening an investigation and pursuing her abusers, the police dismissed Chloe as a prostitute. They asked her whether she was consenting to the sexual activity and, despite Chloe telling them that she did not know the definition of the word “consent,” they reported that she had been.

The police found Chloe, as well as other missing children, in cars with the gang members on multiple occasions, but let the gang members go without so much as questioning them. On one occasion, Chloe was in the town centre and was identified as a missing child by a police officer who questioned where she had been. Chloe told this police officer about the full extent of the abuse, and response of the police officer was that nothing could be done, and Chloe was let go

He worked as a judge for years, so like any profession, you see only things through one perspective. If your only tool is a hammer, then everything is a nail.

Funny you mention Charles. Your statement reminded me of a book I read a few years ago by Alexander Dugin called "The Great Awakening vs the Great Reset".
Dugin starts the book off by saying that Charles is a Malthusian of sorts based on one of his speeches at the WEF in 2020.

I just had a quick flick through Dugin's book. Which is a bit schizo, tbh. It has a kind of FED post/call to arms about Ashli Babbitt, which echoes "My name was Robert Paulson" from Fight Club.
It is also written too blatantly to confirm the biases of a right-wing US audience. I honestly think it might be the Russian propaganda I keep on getting told about.

It depends on how conspiratorial you want to get.

A lot of people want to get into politics for the prestige of it and often leave perfectly good careers behind because they are essentially bored of them.
I am extremely cynical and don't believe anyone that enters it does it to serve the public.
If you get selected by the party in a safe seat, you will have a nice, cushy job for at least a few election cycles.

I work at a company that won't let me use particular tooling because of "corporate policy", but I can install any old rubbish through another means, and they don't care.

Policy often doesn't make sense. I've experienced this throughout my career while contracting for ossified organisations.

Royal Navy being called to a British yacht that is being shot at by the Ruskies (X) The Russian frigate is allegedly one that was helping the 'shadow fleet' so seems a bit jumpy after that other Russian ship was seized. But a yacht? a fucking yacht?
The Russian frigate "Admiral Grigorovich" opened fire towards a British yacht in the English Channel

In a tense incident in international waters, the Russian warship opened fire after a British yacht came within 500 meters.

No injuries were reported.

At the time of the incident, the Russian frigate was being monitored by the British patrol ship HMS Mersey.

Some kind of maritime operation in the channel involving the Russian frigate Grigorovich, I'm told, after allegations shots fired

I'm also told the British yacht contacted the French authorities after (warning?) shot fired by Russian vessel and now things underway

He was never a judge. He was Director of Public Prosecutions for the Crown but he was never a judge.

He was basically the guy who declined to look into or prosecute Jimmy Saville

I think that some people do but then the reality of it quickly hits them

Might've been mistaken for Japanese? It wouldn't be the first time they've been spotted in the area, I think they could benefit from a relearning of the lessons of Tsushima.

We really ought to pull a Hormuz and close the Channel to slavshitters, being a sussy baka sneaky fucking russian is one thing but blasting at us is quite another and shouldn't be left unpunished.
