Only John "White Line Fever" Flynt would claim that a U-Haul van that takes 20 seconds to get to 60 mph and probably has a speed limiter set at 75 or lower has "UNLIMITED POWER."

And why is Massa John driving around in a panel van instead of hiring some poors to do his scut work? My guess would be that the van is transporting a dozen chloroformed teenage boys.

I haven't had time to watch it yet, but IIRC they put a tranny character in it (who wasn't in the comic series at all) to try and mitigate the ree-ing. John-John seems to have a comment for everything, except for things you absolutely expect him to.

Isn't that character a trans-man and therefore a woman so it makes sense in the context of the story? The REEEE seems to have come from the typical troons that can't understand why dudes in dresses didn't survive the thing that insta-killed all men on earth(except for one).

"ungodly large van" --- Not to fret Bri Bri it's just part of being a n00b, it just feels that way because you are a casual driver, so you just don't have the experience or knowledge. But like you say you drive mainly for pleasure so you are still just a beginner with that kind of equipment.
It's why people give those rental trucks a wide berth. People have double digit hours on them. Hell, you'll get someone who can't navigate a little car in a parking structure, hitting stuff, just get behind the wheel of these without any extra training or practice.

Is that how Soccer moms feel all the time? nah, they are using their vehicles to get stuff done. It's not an identity power trip - it's not like middle aged dude bros who get sports cars to be a pretend racer.
The mom's van is a tool. there might be safety gear like car seats in it or PE equipment for physical development.
The middle aged dudes car is a toy. there might be things like laptimers...for a street car

Moms 60 hour work weeks accomplish more concrete goals like health and education - it ain't just "raising awareness of people who already agree"
