I don't think John cares one way or the other. He's such a habitual liar that I don't even know it's possible for him to tell the truth. Either way, most of his legitimate followers don't really care enough to look into his past tweets to find the contradictory messages, and anyone else who actually takes the five seconds to call him out will be blocked. John gets to keep his hugbox secure while spinning even more half-assed lies to make himself look like the super badass awesome street-racing hacker gamer grrl extraordinaire that he wishes he could be.

It's just part and parcel of following John's escapades over the years. He'll never really be called out on his bullshit by anyone important enough to make it stick because they have better things to do than expose a laughable troon for his shenanigans. At least it makes for good entertainment.

It was part of space camp shuttle commander (of course he was commander - wonder if he includes a bunch of jumpsuited 13 year olds flicking switches not hooked up to anything in his counting of "hires") training..dealing with alien lifeforms and all that.
After all, if the actual shuttle crew couldn't launch NASA was prepared to send a chopper and round up John's "team" like a remake of Armageddon -- should salvos of privatized-space moonrocks* ever be detected
