For me this is an excellent example of John at his most cringe inducing best, the ability to, not lie but be effortlessly decietful by omission.
Anyone not knowing his history would think John grew up in poverty alongside the friends he mentioned who joined the military to work hard and make something of themselves rather than growing up in the lap of luxury only to piss it all away until meeting a rich, screaming mongolian pervert who won't just admit he's one of da homos.

I really like the way that Professional Videographer John attempts to make it appear that the Celestial Homunculus is standing up straight by oh-so-subtly tilting the horizon and the trees 30 degrees out of true.
