He lost the election and his campaign was a massive scam. Why interview him? He’s not relevant, progressive, or recognized by any organiazations for his political views.
There wasn’t one single progressive group pushing John/Brianna. He was a joke and everyone knew it.

John cares so much about the people in the area he ran for election that hardly anyone knew him, and he barely knew any of the local issues that people were interested in. He burned bridges with all the local political groups in the belief that he could do it all 'my way' - representing his own ideas and beliefs, with a couple of nods to hashtag issues he'd seen pop up in the local news. The election campaign was about John, not the people of MA8.
What John really wants to do is to run for the Presidency. He's not interested in representing people unless they're people just like him. All he wants is power and respect. He wants to be the next Hillary Clinton. Thankfully, getting to where Clinton was takes a lifetime of political work and building contacts. John is such an obvious turncoat and idiot that unless people are wilfully ignorant (like Warren) they see through his bullshit pretty quickly. He has no contacts that matter and nowhere near enough money to buy influence. He'll be a perennial also-ran, and will use that 'political experience' as a way to get occasional friendly media attention and speaking gigs at third-rate universities. As long as John's ass is being patted and he can pretend to be an angry feminist, he's a happy bunny.

I said this before, he was having delusions of grandeur. John wanted to run and win in MA-8 this year so he could run for President in 2020. That was his main goal, being the Godzilla of tech feminism that beat the evils exist man, Cheeto Drumpf and saving America.
You know, in typical John fashion, he probably had some of his classic horribly drawn doodles with Brianna in biker gear, sitting behind the desk in the Oval Office.

John continues to reveal his profound ignorance of the House of Representatives by jibbering about the Judiciary and the Ways and Means Subcommittees, both of which are actually standing committees.
And what "tech subcommittee" is John babbling about? There are several that deal with the topics he raves about but doesn't understand. And, of course, Science, Space and Technology is another standing committee, not a subcommittee.
John stands in front of a class of third-graders.
Little girl raises her hand.
John spastically twictches an arachnidlike appendage in her direction, snarls, and hisses "Yesssss."
Little girl bravely stands and asks, "Are you a man or a woman?"

It's amazing that there are people who look at John and see him as "brave and inspiring" instead of an obvious head case on the loose, lurching across yards with his cardboard cutout of Stephen Lynch, like a scene from an absurdist satire written by John Waters.
Everything about that video shows John to be the sort of person that normal people avoid like the plague, and it brings home that his fans and followers are even crazier than he is. Speaking of which, why no footage of Frank the Gawping Homunculus?
Bonus points for "Crash the Party" tagline. Or is it Crash: The Party, Giant SpaceKat's newest video game, where players must get home in time to save Crash from freezing on the doorstep. But Oh Noes!, Jace chases you down the street in a Prius before you can drive home in your Porch and save that good, but doomed doggo. Crash, we hardly knew ye.
Also, they missed a chance to have Roger Daltry scream "Yeahhhh!" on the soundtrack, when John slammed down the visor on his helmet, like he thinks he's Horatio Caine putting on his sunglasses.
