I'm sure I am missing some but the point is that nothing Wu dreams up is ever going to make him happy. There isn't some magic combination of material possessions and fake accolades he can accumulate that will make people like and respect him. Brianna Wu is every bit the failure that John Flynt was and there's no escaping that.
