Maybe this was brought up before but is hosting a Star Wars political fundraiser even allowed? I mean I've read about charity events receiving C&D for pushing something with Star Wars in it. I can't fathom they'd be fine with their IP being used to raise money for a politician.
Maybe it's all legit but I feel like if I owned the IP to Star Wars, I'd want to stay as far as fuck away from people like Wu.
